(Matthew 9:37-38) Then He [Jesus] = said to = His disciples, = The harvest = truly = is plenteous, = but = the laborers = are few.
(Matt 9:38) Therefore = pray to = the Lord [God] = of the harvest = that He = will send out laborers = into = His harvest.
Again, continuing this… ‘Ongoing’ discussion of “Evangelism”, we need to use the above Bible verse as our ‘Agenda’… in all that we ‘say and do’… for Christ Jesus and The Kingdom of God the Father. We can do nothing for Evangelism without the ‘Grace of God’ working in our obedient lives. If you are not obedient to the Word of God… how then can you… point others to God and to His Word…?

Much of what is taught about Christianity is not Biblical. There are thousands and thousands of Preachers, Teachers and ‘Pseudo Christians’… that do not hold to the “Complete Authority of the Word of God”. Christianity, here in the USA has ‘de-evolved’ to a Social Christianity and not one of… “Obedience to God and His Living Word”…!
(1Corinthians 2:13-14) These things = we also speak, = not in words = which man's wisdom teaches, = but which = the Holy Spirit = teaches, = comparing = spiritual things = with = spiritual. [Isaiah 28:13]
(1Co 2:14) But the = natural man = does not receive = the things of = the Spirit of God, = for = they are = Foolishness = to him; = Neither = can he = know them, = because = they are = spiritually discerned [encoded].
Dare I be bold enough to say… “If you Love Jesus and He is your ‘Savior & Lord’… Then Why do You = Not Know = His Word…?” You, say you are forgiven your sins and are going to be in heaven with Him, when you die. And yet you, cannot explain “His Word” or even share “His Truths”… with the Lost…? Our society has portrayed an… “Impotent Jesus”… Who is your ‘buddy and friend’ and requires Nothing… from you. Say it isn’t so? Did you even know that the word “LORD” means… “Supreme Incontestable Authority!” How about… “Boss…?”
(Isaiah 55:8-9) For = My thoughts = are not = your thoughts, = nor = your ways = My ways, = says Jehovah.
(Isa 55:9) For = as the heavens = are higher = than the earth, = so are = My ways = higher = than = your ways, = and = My thoughts = than = your thoughts.
(1Corinthians 2:10-11-12) But God = has revealed them = to us = by = His Spirit; = for the Spirit = searches = all things, = yes, = the deep things = of God. [Deuteronomy 29:29]
(1Cor 2:11) For = who = among men = knows = the things of a man = except = the spirit of man within him? = So also = no one = knows = the things = of God = except = the Spirit of God.
(1Cor 2:12) But we = have not = received = the spirit of the world, = but = the [Holy] Spirit = from God, = so that = we = might know = the things = that are freely = given to us = by God.
God’s Holy Spirit… reveals the ‘mind & heat & will’ of God… shown in His Word… to those that are Born Again [Born from Above]. Only by the “Spirit of God”… can one be shown ‘The Things of God’ that are hidden in His Word… from the ‘natural’ man. God’s Holy Spirit illuminates the “Word of God”… showing us His Truth from His Word. IF you don’t’ cherish the Word of God… perhaps you are… “Not His Child…?” “John 17:17 … Thy Word [God] is Truth…!”
(Revelation 16:8-9) And = the fourth angel = poured out his = vial = onto the sun. = And = it was given to him = to burn men = with fire.
(Rev 16:9) And men = were burned = with great heat. = And = they blasphemed = the name of God, = He = having authority = over these plagues. = And = they = did not = Repent = in order = to give Him glory.
This is in the End… of the age when God judges the earth and mankind for their rejection of Him. As you read these verses… did you notice… “And they did not Repent…?” The text says that these… ‘7-vial judgments’… come from God and mankind ‘knows that fact’. Yet, they did not cry out to God for… “His Mercy and Grace” and neither did they… “Repent!” Surely they knew the warnings of the ‘impending judgment’, for God had given warning to them.
“Repentance” again… is a change of ‘mind and heart’… followed by… a change in attitude and actions. “True Biblical Repentance” always, is followed by a change in lifestyle actions. You do not drive your car… you simply ‘steer’ it. It is the ‘Engine’ that drives your car. Without your ‘Engine’ you would just sit there. The Born Again person… is driven by the Holy Spirit… in obedience to the Word of God… “That ‘driving force’, in their life!”
(Romans 8:14) For all = who are led by = God's Spirit = are = God's children.
(James 1:22) Keep on = being = Doers = of the Word, = and = not Merely = hearers = who = Deceive = themselves.
(Luke 24:45-to-48) Then He [Jesus] = opened = their minds = so that they = might come to understand = the Scriptures.
(Luke 24:46) He = said to them, = "Thus it is written, = that = the Christ [Messiah] = was to suffer = and = to rise from the dead = on the third day,
(Luke 24:47) and that = repentance = and = forgiveness of sins = is to be proclaimed = in His name = to all the nations, = beginning at Jerusalem.
(Luke 24:48) You = are witnesses = of these things.
Simply put, “God’s Word, the Scriptures”… is the basis for… ‘All His Authority!’ He in His Word, instructs and leads, His children through His Word. “Never, will God” = ever lead His children… “Against His Word!” It is His communication to all mankind. The ‘Repentance of mankind’ was commanded by Christ Jesus. It was also commanded by God. That change of mind and heart comes from God… because mankind has violated… “God’s Word, God’s Law!”
(Acts 17:11) These people = were = more receptive = than those = in Thessalonica. = They were very willing = to receive the message, = and = every day = they carefully examined = the Scriptures = to see if those things = were so.
(Isaiah 8:20) To the Law = and = to the Testimony! = If = they do not speak = according to = this Word, = it is because = no light = is in them.
The early Church… was taught the Word of God, by the Apostles. This included the first 12 Apostles, minus Judas, who was replaced by Paul. Those new converts to the Faith in ‘Acts 17’, searched what Scriptures…? The New Testament was just being written. It had to be the Old Testament. That completed Word of God we have today is the Bible. The ‘Anti-Christian’ attack we have today comes from ‘the hatred’, towards the Word of God. Abortion, the murder of innocent babies in their mother’s womb and the homosexual agenda… has driven people… either to or… against the Scriptures.
When mankind really “Repents”… they change their ‘mind and heart’ and… “Agree with God” and His Word, the Bible. I have a friend who ‘says’ he is a Christian. He and his family attend church faithfully. Yet he strongly holds to the… ‘Pro-Choice Agenda!’ He ‘cannot’ be a Christian and then say that… “God’s Word”… has ‘No Authority’ in his life. So today, many do not care to ‘read & study’ the Word of God and to know… what God says. They might have to change their actions and ways.
(Matthew 21:28-to-31) But what = do you think? = A man had = two sons; = and = he = came to the first = and said, = Son, = go work = in my vineyard = today.
(Matt 21:29) He answered = and = said, = I = will not. = But afterwards = he Repented = and = went.
(Matt 21:30) And = he came =to the second [son] = and = said likewise. = And = he answered = and said, = I go, = sir; = and = did not = go.
(Matt 21:31) Which = of the two = did = the will = of his father? = They said to Him, = The first. = Jesus = said to them, = Truly = I say to you = that = the tax-collectors and the harlots = go into = the kingdom of God = before you.
“Real Biblical Repentance”… has actions that follow ‘Obedience to the Father God and His Word. Like the second son… ‘Many say they will go to do the Father’s will’… and “do ‘Not’ do so!” Repentance… always takes God’s Word, as its point of reference for… ‘The Violation.’ So much today is clothed in the… ‘Positive Modality and not with Negativity!’ I have people tell me that the Gospel has to be presented in a ‘not upsetting’, kind and gentle way. When God say… “Repent”… it is… “Absolute and Unequivocal!” It is… “NOT an Option!”
(Luke 13:1-to-5) At that time, = some people = who were there = told Jesus = about the Galileans = whose blood = Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.
(Luke 13:2) He asked them, = "Do you think = that these Galileans = were more = sinful = than all = the other Galileans = because = they suffered like this?
(Luke 13:3) Absolutely not, = I [Jesus] tell you! = But if = you don't = Repent, = then you, = too, = will all die.
(Luke 13:4) What about = those eighteen people = who were killed = when the tower at Siloam = fell on them? = Do you think = they were = worse offenders = than = all = the other people = living in Jerusalem?
(Luke 13:5) Absolutely not, = I [Jesus] = tell you! = But if = you don't = Repent, = then you, = too, = will all die."
Christ Jesus gave… in these verses, ‘two’ practical examples. In the one, ‘death by the actions of a tyrannical ruler’. In the other instance, ‘death by supposed accident’ but ultimately, an act of God [Hebrews 9:27]. His commanded to all… “Except you Repent…!” Did Christ Jesus say anything about their belief in God? He was speaking to the Jews who knew about their history and how God had dealt with them for their sinful rebellion.
(Matthew 24:12) and = because = lawlessness will increase, = the love of many people = will grow = cold.
Do you tell people… “Except you Repent…?” Most, never speak about Repentance. They want to present ‘just Jesus’ and His love for mankind. Sorry, but that is ‘Not the complete Gospel!’ Never have I heard a damnation message preached at the end of an ‘invitation to come to Jesus!’ Again the Gospel has been so watered down, that people even mock Hell. Did you notice in the above Bible verse… “Lawlessness will Increase…?” Today, ‘Truth and Righteousness’ have been relegated to the… ‘Back of the Bus!’
How can people “Repent”… unless they are presented with the… “Violation of the Holy God and His Word…?” Repent of what… is the common response. What is right for you ‘may not’ be right for me! Your religion may be right for you, ‘but’ it is not, right for me! “Excuses, are the skins of a Reason, stuffed with a Lie!” Simply the next time you present the Gospel… try it with “Repentance!” You may be surprised with… ‘Me?’ I haven’t done anything… wrong!
(Acts 17:30-31) Truly, then, = God = overlooking = the times of ignorance, = now = He = strictly commands = all men = everywhere = to Repent,
(Acts 17:31) because He [God] = has appointed = a day = in which He = is going to = judge the world = in righteousness = by a Man = Whom He appointed, = having given proof = to all = by raising = Him [Jesus] =from the dead.
How about those Verses… do they sound like… “Repentance…?
