Recently I saw on… ‘Face Book’ a group praying for revival here in America. I wondered what was the motivation for such a site. Perhaps some ‘hard questions’… to lead into this topic? What is their real reason for… “Praying for Revival?” Was it to restore our nation to its former glory and wealth and extravagance, that we once had? Was it so that we have more jobs and more industries and more “Gross National Product”… that made our nation what it ‘Once’ was? Why then… pray for revival…?
(Psalms 66:18) If I = regard iniquity = in = my heart, = Jehovah [God] = will = 'NOT' = hear [me];
About ‘Now’… some are beginning ‘to question’, why I would ‘even suggest’ that some Christians are praying for Revival… for the ‘wrong reasons.’ Well perhaps I may ask you… “Right up front”… ‘Why’ do you pray for revival here in America…? Can you pray for revival… without knowing what God has done in revival in times past? Can you pray for revival… without seeing what God has done, with His people, Israel… in times past? Or did you just join the group… because it was… the “Christian… ‘Thing’… To Do?”
(Amos 4:10) I [God] = have sent = the plague among you = in the way of Egypt; = I have slain your = young men = with the sword [war], = and = have taken away = your horses. = And = I = have made = “the stench” = of your camps = to come up = into your nostrils; = yet = you = have not = returned to Me, = says Jehovah [God].
When was the last time… you read the Old Testament book of “Amos?” God’s people had left, the commanded ‘obedience’ to God’s Word, Precepts, Ordinances, Statutes and practice of His Worship! They had substituted the ‘Heathen God Worship’… that had come from the heathen temples that King Solomon had built for his heathen wives who he was… “Commanded by God”… not to marry. Do not know… the Command from God… about this issue? Perhaps read for yourself… “Deuteronomy 17:14-to-20”…!
(1Samuel 15:22) And = Samuel said, = Does = Jehovah [God] = delight in = burnt offerings and sacrifices = as in Obeying = the voice of Jehovah? = Behold, = “to obey” = is better = than sacrifice! = To listen = is better than = the fat of rams!
IF you do ‘not’ know… what the Word of God says about Revival… how then do you ‘correctly’… pray for revival? Many do not ‘know nor care’ to know, what God says in His Word. They are simply caught up in their… ‘religious practices’… and so called worship music… and church services that they… Often miss what ‘God’ has said in… “His Word, the Bible”. I believe that, this is so… by the amount of ‘hatful responses’ that I have received from those that claim to be Christians… about this blog I posted in Halloween.

If one will ‘not’ obey… the “Word of God”… in such a simple matter, how then do they expect God to hear their prayers about… “Revival?” Or is praying for revival just the religious… thing to do? God is ‘not interested’ in our prayers… “IF” our heart and obedience to Him… is in Rebellion against “His Word”. Just… ‘HOW’… could I say something like that about… ‘Christians’, especially when they ‘only’, acknowledge God on Christmas and Easter? Our money says… ‘In God we Trust’… yet in their practice, they trust… ‘The Almighty Dollar!’
(Jeremiah 11:14) And = you, = do not pray = for this people, = nor = lift up a cry = or = prayer for them. = For I [God] = will not hear them = in the time = they cry to Me = for their trouble.
(Amos 8:11) Behold, = the days come, = says = the Lord Jehovah, = that = I = will send = a famine = in the land; = not = a famine of bread = nor a thirst for water, = but = of hearing = the Words = of Jehovah.
Most, seldom if ever… ‘read & study’… the Word of God, The Bible. How about you, do you take time for God, ‘each & every’ day? And yet, you expect Him, to continually care for your wants and your needs? When was the last time you… ‘Thanked Him’… for those things you ‘so glibly’ take for granted? I have traveled overseas and have seen some of the deplorable living conditions that most of the world has. I thank Him, even for the… ‘clean water’… that I can drink anytime.
(Ezekiel 39:23-24) And = the nations = shall know = that the house of Israel = was exiled = for their iniquity. = Because = they sinned against Me [God], = therefore = I = hid = My face = from them = and = gave them = into the hand = of their enemies. = So they all = fell by the sword.
(Ezek 39:24) According to = their uncleanness = and = according to their sins = I = have done = to them, = and = have hidden = My face = from them.
About now… some are saying, ‘That was Israel’ and we are the New Testament Church. How could God treat us, who have trusted ‘Jesus’… as He did to Israel? Do you think that God has given up on His People either OT or NT? Has the God of the Bible… becomes a ‘Santa Clause’ to you? Surely God has said in His Word… that He would chasten [Spank] all those that are really His! You correct your child, when they do wrong, how then could ‘not expect’ God, to spank those that are ‘really’ His?
(Hebrews 12:7-8) If = you endure chastening, = God = deals with you = as with sons, = for what son = is he = whom the Father = does not chasten?
(Heb 12:8) But = if = you are without = chastisement, = of which = all [say] are partakers, = then you are = bastards = and = not sons.
(1Corinthians 11:28-29) A person = must = examine himself = and = then eat the bread = and drink from the cup [Communion service].
(1Cor 11:29) For = the ‘One’ = who eats and drinks = without recognizing = the body = eats and drinks = “Judgment” = on himself.
(1Cor 11:30) That's why = so many of you = are weak = and sick = and a considerable number = are dying.
God does “Not”… mess around with those that are… ‘Really His!’ How about you, have you ever been “Chastened [Spanked] by God?” You may not have recognized it as such. Real Chastening is accompanied with ‘God sent Repentance.’ Open you Bible and see what God says about Repentance. True Biblical Repentance comes from God ‘alone!’ When one is in the ‘right relationship’ with Him, they are open to His Word. Those that ‘do not’ know Him, do not ‘want’ to know what His Word says.
(2Timothy 2:25-26) in meekness = instructing those = who oppose, = if = perhaps God = will give them = repentance = to the acknowledging = of the Truth [John 17:17],
(2Tim 2:26) and = that they awake = out of the snare = of the Devil, = having been = taken captive = by him, = so as to do = the will = of that one [Satan].
Have you ever… read those verses before and understood them? When one prays for “Revival” in essence they are asking God, for that “Real Holy Spirit Repentance”… to recover themselves from ‘Satan’s’ trap, by which he… has take them captive. How can a ‘Child of God’… be taken captive by Satan? Remember the blog link above, about ‘Halloween?’ You may have celebrated it and even ‘after’ reading the blog, thought to yourself, “That is legalism and I can celebrate that if I want to!” That is being ‘taken captive’.
You… either ‘have and obey’ the Mind of God, found in His Word = or = you ‘disobey and reject’ the Mind of God, found in His Word.
Revival comes only… and when, God says so. One has to be in ‘right standing’ with God, before He will hear your prayers. Well… ‘I know Jesus’… doesn’t that mean as His child that he will always hear me? That is the… “Attitude of License”… that I have seen among many that say they Know God! Will God ‘really’ hear your prayers… “IF”… you disobey His Word… in direct rebellion towards ‘Him?’ Perhaps if you will read this blog, link below, and find out…?

Are you really… praying for ‘Revival’ for our nation? Do you know, that the OT Priest had to offer sacrifice for “His Sins”… before he was allowed to offer sacrifice for the ‘People of Israel?’ Perhaps read through the book of Leviticus and see. Simply put: If you are not right with God in some are of your life… how then can God… hear your prayers for revival for our ‘Nation’…? If you have done another Christian wrong and not repented and asked ‘him or her’ for forgiveness, will God answer your Prayers? If you have stolen anything and not repaid it… will God answer your Prayers?
(Hebrews 3:14) For = we are made = partakers of Christ, = if = we hold = the beginning = of our confidence = steadfast to the end,
(Heb 3:15) while it is said, = "Today = if = you = will hear = His voice [Word], = harden ‘Not’ =your hearts, = as in = the provocation."
(Ephesians 4:30) And = do not = ‘grieve’ = the Holy Spirit of God, = by Whom = you = are sealed = until = the day of redemption.
It is all… a matter of ‘Your Heart!’ You may simply ask ‘God’… if ‘you’ have un-confessed sin in your life and heart. Read thought, ‘His Word’ and see ‘if’ His Holy Spirit convicts you of any sin you have. Believe me, as I can readily testify, God often shows me where I have violated His Word, so that I may ‘confess & forsake’ it. True Fellowship with God… is a growing relationship with Him… through His Word and the Truth found therein! = “No Real Christian… = who is in fellowship with God… = ever rejects = His Word and His Truth!”
(Psalms 36:9) For = with You [God] = is the fountain = of life; = in = Your light = we shall = see light.
(John 15:3) Now = you = are clean = through the Word = which I [Jesus] = have spoken = to you.
(2Corinthains 10:3-to-6) For though = walking [living] about in flesh, = we = do not war = according to flesh [with earthly means].
(2Cor 10:4) For = the weapons = of our warfare = are not = fleshly [human], = but mighty [Divine] = through God = to the pulling down = of strongholds,
(2Cor 10:5) pulling down [separating] = [vain] imaginations = and = every high thing = that exalts = itself = against = the knowledge of God [His Word], = and bringing = into captivity = “Every thought” = into = the obedience = of Christ;
(2Cor 10:6) and = having readiness = to avenge = “All Disobedience”, = when = your obedience [Proverbs 28:13 & 1John 1:5-to-10] = is fulfilled.
How about it…? Are you praying for Revival for America… without First… being revived yourself…?
... "Real Revival" = ‘cannot’ take place… = “Until First” =… it takes place “In”… = the Heart, Mind and Soul… = of the True = Child of God…!
