*** (Matthew 18:7-8-9) How terrible it will be for the world because it causes people to sin! Temptations to sin are bound to happen, but how terrible it will be for that person who causes someone to sin!
(Mat 18:8) "So if your hand or your foot causes you to sin; cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life injured or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire.
(Mat 18:9) And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell fire.
The Bible, God’s Holy Word is Truth… and is ‘replete’ with… “Word Pictures” to convey His Truth to Mankind. Christ Jesus spoke in Parables also and then privately to His disciples, and ‘Yes’… even to Judas! Did you ever read those verses in Matthew 18:7-8-9 or the parallel ones in Mark 9:43-to-48…? Did you ‘think’; that Christ Jesus was telling us… “IF we sin… cut off that Limb that causes us to Sin?” Did you notice those Other verses below… that indicate that it is a “Heart Problem”… and ‘Not’ a “Body Problem”. The simple way to look at these verses is to equate them to The BODY… Obeying the Heart! “The Hand”… what you “DO”: like Stealing! “The Foot”… where you “Go”… like to places with Sinners instead of places with Saints. “The Eye”… what you “See”… like Porn: including Videos with Sex outside of God’s Ordained Place… “Marriage!”
*** (Matthew 15:18-19-20) But the things that come out of the mouth; come from the heart, and it is those things, that make a person unclean.
(Matt 15:19) For it is out of the ‘heart’ that evil thoughts come, as well as murder, adultery, sexual immorality, stealing, false testimony, and slander.
(Matt 15:20) These are the things that make a person unclean. But eating with unwashed hands doesn't make a person unclean."
*** (Jeremiah 17:9-10) The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?
(Jer 17:10) I Jehovah [God] search the heart; I try the reins, even to give to each man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

*** (James 1:22) Keep on being “DOERS” of the ‘WORD’; and Not ‘merely’ hearers who “DECEIVE” themselves.

How about it…? Do you ‘open’ your Bible and meet with Christ Jesus… in His Holy Word… “Daily?” But you ‘Do’ eat physical food… Three or “More Times” a day…? Isn’t that “Spiritual Food” the Holy Word of God… more important; than those… “Physical ‘Appetite’ Ones?” Millions of American are overweight in the physical realm. And yet Many are Starving… in the Spiritual realm… because of “Bad ‘Spiritual’ Choices!” How can you say you… “Love Jesus”… the Living Word of God… and then “NOT”… Love, Read & Study… His Holy Word…? Something is Wrong with that Picture… “Isn’t… IT”…?
*** (Luke 4:4) And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written that: “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by ‘every’ Word of God.”
*** (2Co 4:16) For this cause we do not faint; but though our outward man perishes, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
*** (John 15:1-2-3) I am the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser.
(Joh 15:2) Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away. And every one that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bring forth more fruit.
(Joh 15:3) Now you are clean through the Word which I [Jesus] have spoken to you.
*** (1Peter 2:2-3) desire the sincere milk of the Word, as newborn babies, so that you may grow by it;
(1Pet 2:3) if truly you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
Isn’t it about Time – 101 ?
Sorry, I cannot visit you… and get you to “Open your Bible!” That is the ‘Choice’… of your “Free Will!” But I can tell you… Satan does ‘Not’ want you; ‘To Know’… the Holy Word of God. Most of the ‘problems’ in the life of a Born Again Christian… can be diagnosed as… “Ignorance of God’s Holy Word… and His principles found therein…! Acting outside of God’s Word… causes a Multitude of Problems… in the temporal realm. The first one… is simple Ignorance [un-informed] about that Jesus says in His Holy Word! Then there is your “Flesh”… and its Un-Redeemed Desires… that go against… God’s Holy Word! If you have ‘not’ overcome; your ‘Eating Habits’ and are overweight… how then can you overcome your Fleshly Desires… which war against the Holy Spirit [Romans 8:9]… residing in You…? Give yourself over “Wholly”… to the Holy Word of God. Yes… even though you have been Born Again sometime… ‘Simply’… “Begin Again”…! Please read and speak out loud… “Proverbs 28:13 & 1John 1:5-to-10 & Matthew 3:8”…?
*** (Matthew 22:29) Jesus answered and said to them, You “ERR”, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God.
*** (2Timothy 3:15-16-17) and that from a child; you have known the Holy Scriptures; which are able to make you wise to salvation; through faith in Christ Jesus.
(2Tim 3:16) All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
(2Tim 3:17) that the man of God may be perfected, thoroughly furnished to every good work.
*** (Romans 10:17) Then ‘faith’ is of hearing, and ‘hearing’; by the Word of God.
*** (Luke 18:1) And He [Jesus] also spoke a parable to them to teach; it is always right to pray, and not to faint, [Psalms 56:3]
*** (Galatians 5:17-to-21) For what the flesh wants is opposed to the Spirit, and what the Spirit wants is opposed to the flesh. They are opposed to each other, and so you do not do what you want to do.
(Gal 5:18) But if you are being led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
(Gal 5:19) Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, promiscuity,
(Gal 5:20) idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, rivalry, jealously, outbursts of anger, quarrels, conflicts, factions,
(Gal 5:21) envy, murder, drunkenness, wild partying, and things like that. I am telling you now, as I have told you in the past, that people who ‘practice’ such things will ‘not’ inherit the kingdom of God.
Ok so where do ‘YOU’ Begin…? You must “Dedicate” some of your time and effort… just the way you do for your Favorite TV Programs or Video Games. The children of Israel had to get their Manna… before the sun rose. So you too… have to discipline yourself… to meet with Him… in His Holy Word. The ‘Choice’ is “Yours”… and does not belong to “Anyone Else”…!
