know, that they “Do Not Work!” In any relationship: there must be a: “Give
& Take”…! One sacrifices their wants for the other! It may also mean, Not
being able to visit ‘Family’ on specific holidays. Because people do Not know
“How to Wait”: they often bring in “Bad Baggage” from: a former relationship.
The “Biblical Mandate for Virginity” for BOTH: the Man & the Woman! This is
Not: ‘Followed or Practiced’ today! Sexual promiscuity and STD’S [Sexually
Transmitted Diseases]… will surely be a hindrance to any ‘Marriage!’ Right away
someone will say, “Doesn’t’ Christ FORGIVE our SIN”…? He ONLY forgives the
SIN/SINS of those Who: are TRULY BORN AGAIN: being Justified by His, “Grace,
Mercy & Love!” But when an Alcoholic comes to Christ: does HE
‘Automatically Heal’ their “Diseased Liver”…? Or the person who has an
Incurable STD: Does Christ ‘Automatically Heal’ there sick body…? Absolutely NOT!

Recently, one of my
FB friends… asked me for “Biblical Counsel” on this matter. She
had received a “Promise of Marriage”… without an “Engagement Ring!” What sort
of Man, asks a woman for her hand in Marriage: without one? What man does NOT
ask his ‘Father-in-Law’ for her “Hand in Marriage”…? Had he been previously
“Married & Divorced”…? Did she ask Him…? What arrangements were being made
for which country they would live in…? Is she willing to be “Absent from Him”
for long periods: should his work require it…? What arrangements are made for
her to return home, after the death of her “Father or Mother”…? What “Cultural
Requirements” does she have in her country that she will be willing to “Give
UP” to live in “His Country”…? There a myriad of questions that are needed to
be Decided: “In Writing!” No, I am not saying a: “Pre-Nuptial”, but a written
understanding on Both their parts. Forgoing these will ONLY cause problems:
down through, “Time & Distance!” Suppose “He or She” was to die, where
would their “Child Live & with Whom”…? Does either have a “Medical Power of
Attorney” & “A Living Will”…? Who then makes these decisions…? “Where” will
either be buried and “How [Cremation]”…? What about if ‘One’ has been “Divorced”…?

Why does the Church “FORBID” a homosexual to ‘Practice’…
and then “ALLOW” Divorced & Remarried Christians [?]: Mark 10:11-12… to
continue to Practice their “Christian ADULTERY”…? What happened to… “Proverbs 28:13” & “Romans
6:1-2”...?

“DEBT”…? Neither has any ‘Idea’ how to: ‘Spend or Save’ money either! What about a written “Life Plan” to know How
to deal with Finances: “Before Marriage”…? One ‘rule of thumb’ I like to keep…
“What You Own: Owns You with DEBT!” And Yes, I do know: “The Just will Live by
Faith”…! But I also know… “Stupid IS as Stupid Does”…! The “Salvation & Spiritual
Maturity” of the couple: will have a lot to do with that “Promise of Marriage!”
The most important THING… is their… “Relationship with Christ Jesus” & “Obedience
to His Holy Word”…! I always ask the
Couple…
“Did You ask Christ Jesus IF: you should marry “_______” [insert name]…? Then did You wait for… “His Peace”… in response to that “Question?” Please answer, “Yes or NO”…?

does Righteousness have with Lawlessness? And what
partnership does Light have with Darkness?
