Yom Kippur

Yom Kippur

*** (Leviticus 16:1-to34) And the LORD Jehovah spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered before efe LORD Jehovah and they died.[Leviticus 10:1-to-11]
(Lev 16:2)  and the LORD Jehovah said to Moses, Speak to Aaron your brother, that he does not come at all times into the sanctuary within the veil before the mercy-seat, which is on the Ark, so that he will not die. For I will appear in the cloud on the mercy-seat.
(Lev 16:3) Aaron shall come into the sanctuary this way: with a bull, a son of the herd, for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.
(Lev 16:4) He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches on his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen miter he shall be dressed. These are holy garments. And he shall wash his flesh in water and put them on.
(Lev 16:5) And he shall take from the congregation of the sons of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.
(Lev 16:6)  And Aaron shall offer his young bull of the sin offering which is for himself, and make an atonement for himself and for his house.
(Lev 16:7) And he shall take the two he-goats and present them before LORD Jehovah at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
(Lev 16:8) And Aaron shall cast lots on the two he-goats; one lot for Jehovah and the other lot for a complete removal.
(Lev 16:9)  And Aaron shall bring the goat on which Jehovah's lot fell, and offer it for a sin offering.
(Lev 16:10) But the goat on which the lot fell to be the complete removal shall be presented alive before Jehovah, to make an atonement with him, to let him go for a complete removal into the wilderness.
(Lev 16:11) ndAaron shall bring the young bull of the sin offering which is for himself, and shall atone for himself and for his house, and shall kill the young bull of the sin offering which is for himself.
(Lev 16:12) And he shall take a censer full of coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD Jehovah, and his hands full of fragrant perfumes beaten small, and bring it within the veil.
(Lev 16:13) And he shall put the incense on the fire before the LORD Jehovah. And the cloud of the incense shall cover the mercy-seat that is on the Testimony. And he shall not die.
(Lev 16:14) And he shall take of the blood of the young bull and shall sprinkle with his finger on the front of the mercy-seat eastward. And he shall sprinkle at the front of the mercy-seat seven times from the blood with his finger.
(Lev 16:15) Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering that is for the people, and bring its blood inside the veil. And he shall do with that blood as he did with the blood of the young bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy-seat and before the mercy-seat.
(Lev 16:16) And he shall atone for the sanctuary, because of the uncleannesses of the sons of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins. And so he shall do for the tabernacle of the congregation which remains with them in the midst of their uncleannesses.
(Lev 16:17) And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goes in to make an atonement in the sanctuary, until he comes out and has made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.
(Lev 16:18) And he shall go out to the altar that is before the LORD Jehovah and make an atonement for it. And he shall take some of the blood of the young bull, and of the blood of the goat, and put it on the horns of the altar all around.
(Lev 16:19) And he shall sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times and cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleannesses of the sons of Israel.
(Lev 16:20) And when he has made an end of reconciling the sanctuary and the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, he shall bring the live goat.
(Lev 16:21)And Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the sins of the sons of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them on the head of the goat, and shall send away by the hand of a chosen man into the wilderness.
(Lev 16:22) And the goat shall bear on him all their sins to a land in which no one lives. And he shall let the goat go in the wilderness.
(Lev 16:23) And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall strip off the linen garments which he put on when he went into the sanctuary, and shall leave them there.
(Lev 16:24)  nd he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth and offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself and for the people.
(Lev 16:25)  And the fat of the sin offering shall he burn on the altar.
(Lev 16:26) And he that let go the goat for the complete removal shall wash his clothes and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward come into the camp.
(Lev 16:27)  And the young bull for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, shall they carry forth outside the camp. And they shall burn their skins in the fire, and their flesh and their dung.
(Lev 16:28) And he who burns them shall wash his clothes and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.
(Lev 16:29)  And it shall be a statute forever to you: in the seventh month, on the tenth of the month, you shall afflict your souls and do no work at all, the native and the alien who is staying among you.
(Lev 16:30) For on that day an atonement shall be made for you, to cleanse you, so that you may be clean from all your sins before LORD Jehovah.
(Lev 16:31) It shall be a Sabbath of rest to you, and you shall afflict your souls, by a statute forever.
(Lev 16:32) And the priest whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate to minister in the priest's office in his father's stead, shall make the atonement and shall put on the linen clothes, the holy garments.
(Lev 16:33)  And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar; and he shall make an atonement for the priests and for all the people of the congregation.
(Lev 16:34) And this shall be an everlasting statute to you, to make an atonement for the sons of Israel for their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD Jehovah commanded Moses.

Question: Does the Jewish celebration of Yom Kippur…. Have Any Validity Today…? Please answer… “Yes or NO”…?

IF You said “Yes”….. please allow me to ask: Where are the Sacrifice Animals…? Where is the Temple… where they are to be “Offered”…? Where are the Levitical Priests, who are to do the Sacrifices…?Without keeping the… “Exact Requirements” of this Sacrifice… It becomes a hollow obedience and becomes an… “Outward practice of Religion”…!Remember ISRAEL…. “Rejected their Messiah… “Christ Jesus”…! Spiritual Blindness has taken place with most Jews! Some have come to Christ Jesus as Savior & Lord, but very Few…!

*** (Exodus 20:18-19-20) And all the people saw the thundering’s, and the lightning’s, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking. And when the people saw, they trembled, and stood afar off.
(Exo 20:19) And they said to Moses, You speak with us, and we will hear. But let not God speak with us, lest we die.
(Exo 20:20) And Moses said to the people, Do not fear, for God has come to test you, and so that His fear may be before your faces, so that you may not sin.

*** (Isaiah 28:13) But the Word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept; precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go; and fall backward [backslide]; and be broken; and snared; and taken.

*** (Matthew 5:17-18) Do not think that I [Jesus] have come to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to destroy but to fulfill.
(Matt 5:18) For truly I say to you, Till the heaven and the earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle shall in any way pass from the Law until all is fulfilled.

What has happened to the “Mosaic & Levitical Sacrifices”…?What has happened to the First Covenant of the Law…? It has been Replaced by the Grace of God, and the New Covenant…! May I simply ask You, “When was the last time You read Completely Through… the NT book of Hebrews”…? Has it been a while, or have You “NEVER”… “Read & Studied IT”…?Many of those who call themselves Christians… Do NOT know the NT Doctrine and ace Confused about Law & Grace…! Many say they keep the Sabbath, without knowing the… “Sabbath Requirements” of the Scriptures…! Still more are confused about… “Law & Grace”…! Many have professed Christ for Years… and are still “ignorant” [Un-Informed] about what the Scriptures Teach…! Say it isn’t So…? Sorry, It is SO…!

*** (Galatians 5:4) Those of you who are trying to be justified by the Law [Torah] have been cut off from Christ. You have fallen away from grace.

*** (Galatians 3:2-3) This ONLY I would learn from you: Did you receive the [Holy] Spirit by works of the law, OR by hearing of faith? [Romans 8:9]
(Gal 3:3) Are you so FOOLISH? Having begun in the Spirit, do you NOW perfect yourself in the flesh?

Perhaps we should see a list of some of the… “Sabbath Requirements”…?
·       You may NOT… Cook…! “Exodus 35:3.”
·       You cannot travel, more than 1/5 mile…! “Acts 1:12 & Joshua 3:4-5.”
·       You put No one to Death for breaking the Sabbath…! “Exodus 31:14.”
·       Do You, Sacrifice Two Lambs [2], without blemish…! “Numbers 28:9-10.”
·       And You pretend to tell Others… “You Keep the Sabbath”…? “Proverbs 22:12.”

*** (Acts 17:11) And these were more noble than those of Thessalonica; in that they received the Word with all readiness of mind; and searched the Scriptures daily; to see if those things were so. [Or Not?]

ONE MORE TIME… Christ Jesus [Messiah] is our -> SABBATH [Rest]! [Matthew 11:27-to-30]...!

*** (Hebrews 8:1-to-16) Now the sum of the things which we have spoken is this: We have such a High Priest, who has sat down on the right of the throne of the Majesty in Heaven,
(Heb 8:2) a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
(Heb 8:3) For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices. Therefore it is necessary that this One have something to offer also.
(Heb 8:4)  For if indeed He were on earth, He would not be a priest, since there are priests who offer gifts according to the Law,
(Heb 8:5) who serve the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was warned of God when he was about to make the tabernacle. For, He says "See that you make all things according to the pattern shown to you in the mountain."
(Heb 8:6)  But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, by so much He is also the Mediator of a better covenant, which was built upon better promises.
(Heb 8:7)  For if that first covenant had been without fault, then no place would have been sought for the second.
(Heb 8:8) For finding fault with them, He said to them, "Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and I will make an end on the house of Israel and on the house of Judah; a new covenant shall be,
(Heb 8:9)  not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day I took hold of their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt," because they did not continue in My covenant, and I did not regard them, says the Lord.
(Heb 8:10)  "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My Laws into their mind and write them in their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
(Heb 8:11) And they shall not each man teach his neighbor, and each man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest.
(Heb 8:12)  For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more."
(Heb 8:13) In that He says, A new covenant, He has made the first one old. Now that which decays and becomes old is ready to vanish away.

*** (John 1:17) For the Law came through Moses, but Grace and Truth came through Jesus Christ.

*** (Hebrews 10:1-to-21) For the Law which has a shadow of good things to come, not the very image of the things, appearing year by year with the same sacrifices, which they offer continually, they are never able to perfect those drawing near.
(Heb 10:2)  For then would they not have ceased to be offered? Because the worshipers, when they had been once for all purged, would have had no more conscience of sin.
(Heb 10:3) But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again of sins every year.
(Heb 10:4) For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
(Heb 10:5)  Therefore when He comes into the world, He says, "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but You have prepared a body for Me.
(Heb 10:6) In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have had no pleasure.
(Heb 10:7) Then I said, Lo, I come (in the volume of the Book it is written of Me) to do Your will, O God."
(Heb 10:8) Above, when He said, "Sacrifice and offering, and burnt offerings and offering for sin You did not desire, neither did You have pleasure in them" (which are offered according to the Law),
(Heb 10:9) then He said, "Lo, I come to do Your will, O God." He takes away the first so that He may establish the second.
(Heb 10:10) By this will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
(Heb 10:11) And indeed every priest stands daily ministering and offering often the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.
(Heb 10:12)  But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right of God,
(Heb 10:13) from then on expecting until His enemies are made His footstool.
(Heb 10:14)  For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are sanctified.
(Heb 10:15)  The Holy Spirit also is a witness to us; for after He had said before,
(Heb 10:16) "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord; I will put My Laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,"
(Heb 10:17) also He adds, "their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more."
(Heb 10:18) Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
(Heb 10:19) Therefore, brothers, having boldness to enter into the Holy of Holies by the blood of Jesus,
(Heb 10:20)  by a new and living way which He has consecrated for us through the veil, that is to say, His flesh;
(Heb 10:21)  and having a High Priest over the house of God,

*** (1Corinthains 5:7) Therefore purge out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened. For also Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us.
