*** (Romans 15:4) For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, so that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have ‘HOPE’.

*** (1Timothy 5:24-25) The sins of some people are obvious, going ahead of them to judgment. The sins of others follow them there.

1Timothy 5:25) In the same way, good works are obvious, and those that are not cannot remain hidden.

*** (1Kings 11:1-to-17) And King Solomon loved many foreign women, even the daughter of Pharaoh, Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, Hittites; [Deuteronomy 17: Violation]

(1Ki 11:2) of the nations which The LORD had said to the sons of Israel, “You” shall not go in to them, and they shall not go in to ‘‘You’’; surely they will turn away your heart after their gods. Solomon clung to these in love.

(1Ki 11:3) And he had seven hundred wives [700], princesses, and three hundred [300] concubines. And his wives ‘turned’ away his “Heart!”

(1Ki 11:4) For it happened when Solomon was old, his wives turned away his heart after other gods. And his heart was not perfect with The LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.

(1Ki 11:5)  For Solomon went after Ashtoreth, the goddess of the Sidonians, and after Milcom, the abomination of the Ammonites;

(1Ki 11:6) and Solomon Did ‘EVIL’ in the sight of The LORD; and did not go fully after The LORD like his father David.

(1Ki 11:7) Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill which is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the sons of Ammon.

(1Ki 11:8) And likewise he [Solomon] did for all his foreign wives; and burned incense and sacrificed to their [False] gods.

(1Ki 11:9) And The LORD was angry with Solomon because his heart was turned from The LORD, the God of Israel; Who had appeared to him twice

(1Ki 11:10) and had commanded him concerning this thing; that he should not go after other gods; and he did ‘Not’ keep that which The LORD commanded.

(1Ki 11:11) And The LORD said to Solomon, Since this is done by ‘‘You’’, and since “You” have “NOT” kept My covenant and My statutes which I have commanded ‘‘You’’; I [God] will surely tear the kingdom from “You” and will give it to your servant.

*** (Psalms 90:8-to-12) “You” [God] have set our iniquities before ‘‘You’’: our “Secret Sins” in the light of Your face.

(Psalms 90:9) For all our days pass away in Your wrath; we finish our years like a murmur.

(Psalms 90:10) The days of our years are threescore years and ten [70]; and if by strength they are fourscore years [80], yet their pride is labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

(Psalms 90:11) Who knows the power of Your anger? And as Your fear is; so is Your wrath. [Hebrews 12:5-to-8 & John 15:1-2-3]

(Psalms 90:12) So teach us [Me] to number our [My] days; so that we [I] may bring a heart of wisdom.

              Our ‘choices’ have some… LIFE LONG: ‘Consequences & Benefits’. God has chosen to allow us to see the ‘Sins’ of the saints; and what has expired: as a result of those ‘Wrong Choices!’ Nothing escapes from God; ‘Not’ even those “Secrets”: we keep hidden in our ‘minds & hearts.’ I would much rather ‘Learn’: from the mistakes of others. “What about ‘‘You?” God in His Love, Mercy & Grace has allowed us to see their ‘Sins & Consequences’: as a direct violation of His Holy Word. Solomon was the perfect example of this, ‘Cause & Effect!’ He was given from God, ‘Wisdom’ above “ANY” given to any human being. Yet, with all this “Godly Wisdom”: his “Wrong” choices; caused Israel and its people to be steeped in: “Pagan Idol Worship”. Yes and for hundreds of years! 

Some Christians… speak about the promises given to Israel. They often times ‘Quote’ Promises given to Israel: and try and apply them to the NT Church! But they also, “Immediately Forget”: those corresponding “Curses Promised”: for the violations of His Holy Word. Ever wonder WHY: people do ‘NOT’ take the: “ENTIRE” counsel of God…? [Isaiah 28:13]

*** (Joshua 8:34-35) And afterward he read all the words of the Law; the blessings and cursings, according to all that is written in the book of the Law.

(Josh 8:35) There was ‘Not’ a Word of all that Moses commanded; which Joshua did not read before all the congregation of Israel, with the women and the little ones, and the strangers that walked among them.

*** (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14) Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God, and keep His commandments. For this is the whole duty of man.

(Eccl 12:14) For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it is good, or whether evil.

             

*** (John 12:47-to-50) And if any one hears My Words and does not believe, I [Jesus] do not judge him [Now]; for I do not come [This TIME] to judge the world; but to save [Redeem] the world.

(John 12:48) He who rejects Me [Jesus] and does Not receive My Words: has one who judges him; the Word that I have spoken: the same shall judge him in the Last Day.

(John 12:49) For I [Jesus] have not spoken of Myself; but the Father [God]: Who sent Me gave Me a command; what I should say, and what I should speak.

(John 12:50) And I know that His command is life everlasting. Therefore whatever I speak, even as the Father [God] said to Me; so I [Jesus] speak.

*** (Luke 3:8) Therefore bring forth fruits worthy of repentance; and do not begin to say within yourselves; We have Abraham for our father. For I [Jesus] say to you; that God is able to raise up children to Abraham: from these stones.

‘Who’ Moved…?

These “Mystery Instructions” (Ephesians 5:18-to-33) … are also the basis for the family; when “Children” are added to the Marriage equation. And ALSO: for those who are “Single” and called into the life of singlehood. [Matthew 19:10-11-12]

These mystery instructions… are also “Applicable & Valid!” in each area of Life & Godliness. But how can that be? Please, first allow me to explain? Are we: those of us who have been Born Again by the Holy Spirit of God: “The Bride of Christ, His Church, His Redeemed Ones”…? Absolutely Yes! Then these “Mystery Instructions” are both: “Applicable & Mandatory”.

*** (Matthew 23:11-12) The person who is greatest among ‘‘You’’: must be your servant.

(Matt 23:12) Whoever exalts himself will be humbled; and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

*** (Luke 17:10) That's the way it is with you. When you have done everything you were ordered to do, say; 'We are worthless servants. We have done ‘only’ what we ought [Duty] to have done.

*** (Micah 6:8) He [God] has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does The LORD require of you: but to do justice: and to love mercy: and to walk humbly with your God?

*** (John 8:29) Moreover, the One [Father God] Who sent Me [Jesus] is with Me. He [God] has never left Me alone: because I [Jesus] always do what pleases Him [God].

*** (Hebrews 5:7) For Jesus, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears to Him [Father God]: Who was able to save Him [Jesus] from death; and was heard in that He [Jesus] feared [God],

(Heb 5:8) though being a [Perfect] Son; yet He [Jesus] learned ‘Obedience’: by the things which He suffered.

(Heb 5:9) And being perfected; He [Jesus] became the ‘Author’ of eternal salvation: to all those who “Obey Him” [Jesus].

Did Christ Jesus… ever do anything, that was outside of the “Will of God?” “Absolutely NOT!” He was God in His “Humanity”: and was every part human as we are. But He set aside “His Divinity” according to the Will of God: so that He might become the “Passover Lamb of God!” The question for those who are “Truly HIS”: “Will we leave our own ‘Wills & Wants’: to serve “Him” just as He in LOVE: just as He: Served the will of “His Father”…? [Abba, Daddy!] You will NOT: and that is ‘WHY’… “You” opted for a Divorce!

We are born into our ‘Fallen Humanity”…! And we may be redeemed ‘Only’ by this “Finished Work of Redemption” by Christ Jesus. This then begins our “Life Long” lesion of: “Learning Obedience” to His Holy Word. If “You” do not learn this, how then can “You” be led by the Holy Spirit…? [Romans 8:14] For the married, it is to each other. For the single, it is in the realm of their work environment or other ‘calling’ in life! He, Christ Jesus: showed us the ‘How To’: of this “Mystery!” “Marriage & Singleness” that will “TEST our WILLS”: as no other work can! Ultimately we are learning life’s hardest lesion: “Subjection to Authority!” It is that lifelong struggle of: “Have To / Want To!” We at the same time want to please our mate or employer: yet at the same time; we want; “Our Own Will!”

Perhaps a real story to illustrate this: “Truth?”

His name was Marcio. He was a pilot in the Brazilian air force and immigrated to the USA. Miriam was raised as an “MK” [missionary kid] by her Missionary parents in Brazil. They met in a ‘Sunday School’ class I was attending: at a “Fundamental ‘Bible’ Church”: in America. We became friends and he shared how they were to be married in only six weeks. He asked me, “What is a Christian Marriage?”

My response was… “It is the “Union & Struggle”: of ‘Two Souls’; who know Christ Jesus as “Lord & Savior!” These married “Saints in Christ” ARE: “Sometimes Sinners” and “Sometimes Saints”… but have chosen to live together: in “Holy Matrimony!” Hopefully, before Christ Jesus and in “Obedience” to His Holy Word! Marcio did not know how to respond; but told me he would: “Think that ‘One’ through!”

After some six months of marriage… he came to me after class and said, “Now I know what “You” mean!” “Sometimes Saints!” and “Sometimes Sinners!”

*** (Philippians 2:5-to-15) Have the same attitude among yourselves; that was ‘also’ in Christ Jesus:

(Philip 2:6) In God's own form He [Jesus] existed. And shared with God equality, Deemed nothing needed grasping. [Colossians 1:12-to-22]

(Philip 2:7) Instead, poured out in emptiness, A servant's form did He [Jesus] possess, A mortal man becoming. In human form He chose to be,

(Philip 2:8) And lived in all humility, Death on a cross obeying.

(Philip 2:9) Now lifted up by God to heaven, A name above all others given, This matchless name possessing.

(Philip 2:10) And so, when Jesus' name is called, The knees of everyone should fall Where ever they are residing.

(Philip 2:11) Then every tongue in one accord, Will say that Jesus Christ is Lord, While God the Father, praising.

(Philip 2:12) And so, my dear friends, just as “You” have always obeyed, not only when I [Paul] was with “You” but even more now that I am absent, continue to work out your salvation with fear [of God] and trembling. [Ephesians 2:10 & Romans 12:1-2-3]

(Philip 2:13) For it is God [The Father]; Who is producing in “You” both: the desire and the ability to do what pleases Him. [2Corinthians 4:5-to-11]

(Philip 2:14) Do everything “Without” complaining or arguing

(Philip 2:15) so that “You” may be blameless and innocent, God's children without any faults among a crooked and perverse generation, among whom “You” shine like ‘stars’ in the world.

(Rom 12:2) Do not be conformed to this world, but continually be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that “You” may be able to determine what God's will is -> what is proper, pleasing, and perfect.

(Rom 12:3) For by the grace given to me I ask every one of “You” not to think of yourself more highly than “You” should think, rather to think of yourself with sober judgment: on the measure of faith that God has assigned each of ‘‘You’’.

(Rom 12:4) For we have many parts in one body, but these parts do ‘Not’ all have the same function [office].

‘Who’ Moved…?

IT’S… “Only a matter of the: Heart!”

Throughout the Holy Word of God… He [God] often times communicates His Truth with “Word Pictures”. Someone once said, “A picture is worth a thousand words!” The Living Holy Word of God: is so very much more! Some will ‘Academically’ learn its Truths. Few others will ‘Actually’: “Hide it in their Hearts!” That is where it ‘Actually’ becomes a functioning [John 15:3] part of their “Whole Being!” It is from within your heart that “You” live out: your “Life in Christ Jesus!” [Romans 8:9] It is ‘Always’ a matter of the “Heart!”

*** (Psalms 119:11) I have hidden Your Word in my heart; that I might not sin against “You” [Lord].

*** (Proverbs 4:23) Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

*** (Matthew 15:16-to-20) Jesus said, "Are “You” still so “Ignorant?”

(Matt 15:17) Don't “You” know that everything that goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and then is expelled as waste?

(Matt 15:18) But the things that come out of the mouth come from the Heart; and it is those things that make a person unclean.

(Mat 15:19) For it is out of the Heart: that Evil thoughts come; as well as Murder, Adultery, Sexual Immorality, Stealing, False testimony [Lies], and Slander.

(Matt 15:20) These are the things that make a person unclean. But eating with unwashed hands doesn't make a person unclean."

Did “You” know… that the “Saving Faith”: in Christ Jesus as your “Savior & Lord & Redeemer”: is always function ‘of/in’ your “HEART?” Christ Jesus ‘Qualified’ that True Belief in Him; with “John 7:38-39!”

And God… Who sees all hearts, “Validates your True Belief”: by giving “You” His Holy Spirit! [Acts 15:8-9] Sorry, True Salvation in Christ is ‘Not’ saying a ‘sinner’s prayer’: or walking a Church aisle in a “Moment of Emotional Desperation! There is no such thing as, “Hand me down Faith!” Each & every person is: ‘Personally’ responsible with what they do with the knowledge about: “Christ Jesus” & “His Holy Word”.

*** (John 7:38-39) The one who believes in Me [Jesus]: as the Scripture has said, will have rivers of living water flowing from his heart.

(John 7:39) Now he said this about the [Holy] Spirit: Whom those who were believing in Him [Jesus] were to receive. For the [Holy] Spirit was not yet present; because Jesus had not yet been glorified. [Acts 2:1-to-11 & Romans 8:9]

*** (Acts 15:8-9) God, Who “Knows ‘everyone's’ Heart”: showed them He approved: by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as he did to us. [Romans 8:9]

(Acts 15:9) He made no distinction between them and us [Jew & Gentile], because He [God] cleansed their hearts by Faith. [Saving Faith]

*** (Colossians 3:23-24-25) Whatever “You” do; work at it wholeheartedly as though “You” were doing it for the Lord: and ‘Not’ merely for people.

(Col 3:24) “You” know that it is from the Lord that “You” will receive the inheritance as a reward. It is the Lord Christ; Whom “You” are serving!

(Col 3:25) For the person who does what is Wrong: will be paid back for what he has done; and there is no favoritism. [NO: respect of persons]

*** (John 6:44) No one can come to Me [Jesus] unless the Father [God]: Who sent Me draws [compels] him; and I [Jesus] will raise him to life on the Last Day.

             

*** (Galatians 3:1) “You” foolish Galatians! Who put “You” under a spell? Was not Jesus Christ clearly portrayed as crucified before your very eyes?

(Gal 3:2) I want to learn only one thing from ‘‘You’’: Did “You” receive the [Holy] Spirit by doing the works of the Law: or by believing what “You” heard? (Hearing of Faith) [Romans 8:9]

(Gal 3:3) Are “You” so foolish? Having started out with the [Holy] Spirit; are “You” now ending up with the flesh?

*** (2Chronicles 16:7) And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah and said to him, Because “You” have relied on the king of Syria; and have ‘Not’ relied on the LORD your God; therefore the army of the king of Syria has escaped out of your hand.

(2Ch 16:8) Were not the Cushites and the Libyans a huge army with many chariots and horsemen? Yet, because “You” relied on the LORD; He [God] delivered them into your hand.

(2Ch 16:9) For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro in all the whole earth: to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose “Heart”: is ‘perfect’ toward Him. “You” have done foolishly in this; therefore from now on “You” shall have wars.

(2Ch 16:10) And Asa was angry with the seer and put him in a prison-house. For he was in a rage with him because of this. And Asa oppressed some of the people at that time.

When “You” make a decision to “Divorce your Mate”… “You” lose your “Spiritual: Perspective & Discernment!” From that point on: “You” will simply “Play Christian!” “You” shut off communication between: “God to ‘You’’ [Psalms 66:18]; because “You” harden your Heart towards the LORD! And, “You” have ‘Rejected’ His Holy Word: and it’s “Finite Standard!”

The sweetness… of fellowship with Christ Jesus, in His Holy Word: becomes mundane! The Bible becomes only academic to “You!” This word picture can be seen in OT Israel; and their continual disobedience to the LORD. Do “You” remember WHAT: Christ Jesus told the ‘Jews’ of His ‘day & time’…? So today, those “American Christians” who practice: “Divorce” & “Remarriage Adultery” are in the: “Same Spiritual Condition!”

*** (Luke 16:15) So He [Jesus] said to them, "You try to justify yourselves in front of people, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly valued by people is detestable to God.

Oh yes… did Asa in the above Scripture: Repent, or get MAD: at the messenger…? How will “You” respond to this message…? “You” will either Repent and turn to Christ Jesus; or “You” will continue your justification of your: “Divorce” & “Remarriage Adultery!”

*** (Psalms 106:13-14-15) They hurried and forgot His works; they did ‘Not’ wait for His counsel;

(Psalms 106:14) but they lusted greedily in the wilderness, and tested God in the desert.

(Psalms 106:15) And He [God] gave [permitted] them what they asked; but sent “Leanness” into their soul.

*** (Matthew 15:7-8-9) “You” hypocrites! How well did Isaiah prophesy of “You” when he said,

(Matt 15:8) 'These people honor Me [God] with their lips; but their ‘Hearts’ are far from Me [God].

(Matt 15:9) Their worship of Me [God] is Empty; because they ‘substitute’ human rules as doctrines.

*** (Isaiah 29:13-to-16) And the LORD said, Because this people draw near Me [God] with their mouth; and with their lips [only] honor Me: but have removed their ‘Heart’ far from Me; and their fear toward Me is taught by the command of men;

(Isa 29:14) therefore, behold, I [God] will go on doing among this people; a wonder, even a wonder. For the wisdom of their wise ones shall perish; and the understanding of their intelligent ones shall be hidden.

(Isa 29:15) Woe to those who go deep to hide their purpose from the LORD! And their works are in the dark, and they say: Who sees us? And who knows us? [God does!]

(Isa 29:16) O your ‘Perversity!’ Shall the former be counted as the potter's clay; for shall the work say of him who made it, He did not make me? Or shall the thing formed say to Him who formed it, He had no understanding?

              Both: “Love & Divorce”… come from within your “Heart!” What has to change ‘within’: ‘‘You” May I suggest that ‘‘You’’: control your own “Heart!” One more time: it is always a matter of the Heart! WHO: LIVES there [Romans 8:9] is the One “You” love and serve. Remember, “I” is the middle of: “S-I-N”…!

If the Holy Spirit of God truly lives there: [Romans 8:9]: there will ‘Not’ be a “Divorce”: but Reconciliation! [2Corinthians 5:18-to-21]

That same “Forgiveness… & Reconciliation” that “You” experience from Christ Jesus; will be your mainstay! His Love, Mercy & Grace will provide “You” with your “Heart Motives!” Your commitment to “Christ Jesus” and your “Wedding Vows”: over rides that “Sin Nature” found there! We all have the “Flesh or Sin Nature” to deal with on a daily basis. The ‘One’ “You” FEED the “Most”: will GROW the “Most!” Fill your heart with “His Holy Word” and daily ‘mediate & obey’ it. “You” alone choose daily; what will become of your ‘Heart!’

*** (1Jn 3:9-to12) No one born of God: makes a practice of sinning; for God's seed [Holy Spirit] abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born [Again] of God. [Romans 8:9]

(1Jn 3:10) By this it is ‘evident’: who are the children of God; and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God; nor is the one who does not love his brother.

(1Jn 3:11) For this is the message that “You” have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

(1Jn 3:12) We should not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil and his brother's righteous.
