A Christian writes to a Jehovah Witness…!

Thank you for your response, but again I must clarify for you, ‘That the HOLY SCRIPTURES’ are my Only Point of Reference, and NOT What some religion… “Say they SAY?”

And yet you claim to belong to the JW’S? Did you read what the Historical Account of them said, and what else is there?

IF these were not TRUE, then the Watchtower could have SUED… Wikipedia! And yet MOST… do not even know the history and the treachery of the Organization.

You and most of the Jehovah Witnesses have been TOLD… “What to Believe” and HAVE Not Commanded to Obey… “1Thessalonians 5:21”.

Actually YOU and Others spend more time… Studying the Watchtower Doctrine… “Than you do Studying the Holy Scriptures!”

AND… If you should come to the Conclusion that Jesus is GOD… You are Constantly UNDER The Threat of DISFELLOWSHIP! That is the Same Treachery the Catholic Church uses and Calls EXCOMMUNICATION! See how simple it is? “DISFELLOWSHIP = EXCOMMUNICATION”.

Now… Who are YOU Going to Believe? The Scriptures or the Organization?

(Luke 16:29-30-31) Abraham said to him, They have Moses and the Prophets, let them hear them. Now as to the Bible. I have been using a KJV for many years, and in addition I have done extensive study in the OT Hebrew and the NT Greek. And yet the JW’S have what is called ‘The New World Translation’ which Does NOT hold to the Validity of the Greek, Texus Receptus!

YOU originally told me that you could Explain this verse to me, and yet after several emails, you have side stepped ‘The Real Issue = is Jesus Christ GOD?’

That is the “Common Issue that All the Cults have = they teach that JESUS CHRIST… IS NOT GOD!”

Did Jesus Christ... “Raise His Own Body?”

(John 2:19-to-22) Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up. (John 2:20) Then the Jews said, This temple was forty-six years building, and will you rear it up in three days? (John 2:21) But He spoke of the temple of His body. (John 2:22) Therefore when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them, and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.

Yes, Jesus Raised ‘His Own Body!” But Who Else Raised the Body of Jesus?

(Romans 8:11) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

(Acts 10:40) Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;

Jesus Raised His OWN Body! = John 2:19-to-22
The Holy Spirit raised the Body of Jesus = Romans 8:11
God Raised the Body of Jesus = Acts 10:40

Did Jesus ever Claim to be GOD? The Jews seemed to Understand what Jesus meant for they Wanted to Stone Him! Jesus claimed to be... ‘The I Am!”

(John 8:56-to-59) Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and He saw and was glad.
(John 8:57) Then the Jews said to Him, You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham? (John 8:58) Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Before Abraham came into being, I AM! (John 8:59) Then they took up stones to throw at Him. But Jesus hid Himself and went forth out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and passed on by.

(Exodus 3:13-14-15) And Moses said to God, Behold, when I come to the sons of Israel, and shall say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they shall say to me, What is His name? What shall I say to them? (Exo 3:14) And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM. And He said, So you shall say to the sons of Israel, I AM has sent me to you. (Exo 3:15) And God said to Moses again, You shall say this to the sons of Israel, Jehovah the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. And was JESUS… Worshiped As God? By men and by Angels? Who ONLY is to be Worshipped?

(Luke 4:8) And Jesus answered and said to him, Get behind me, Satan! For it is written, "You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve."

Jesus TOLD… Satan… ONLY GOD = WAS TO BE WORSHIPPED! Deut 18:19-20!

(Hebrews 1:6) And again, when He [GOD] brings in the First-born [JESUS] into the world, He [GOD] says, "And let all the angels of God worship Him [JESUS]."

GOD… commanded that Jesus was to ‘Be Worshipped = by all the Angels!” And yet Jesus said that ONLY GOD… was to be Worshipped! Hence = Jesus is GOD!

(John 20:28) And Thomas answered and said to Him, My Lord and my God!

And Thomas worshipped JESUS… As God. The Greek Text says, “The LORD of Me… The GOD of ME!” IF… Jesus was not God, He should have said, Thomas worship GOD… and not ME!

There are those that would says, Thomas meant, it in the Vocative Tense, like the saying “Oh God!” IF that were so, Jesus would have told him, Exodus 20:7 & Deuteronomy 5:7… YOU Shall not take the Name of Jehovah in Vain!” Jesus Did NOT… But Accepted WORSHIP AS GOD!

Or did you Purposely MISS… These Scriptures… that show that… “JESUS IS GOD?”

(Colossians 1:14-19) in whom we have redemption through His blood, the remission of sins.
(Col 1:15) Who is the image of the invisible God, the First-born of all creation. (Col 1:16) For all things were created in Him, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers, all things were created through Him and for Him. (Col 1:17) And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. (Col 1:18) And He is the Head of the body, the church, who is the Beginning, the First-born from the dead, that He may be pre-eminent in all things. (Col 1:19) For it pleased the Father that in Him all fullness should dwell.

NOW… as a “JW”… “YOU Are Taught” that you cannot believe Anything that you cannot Understand! And yet you do not Understand the architecture of the Processor Chip in your computer, and YET you still use your computer! Nor do you understand the Computer Language and yet you USE may other Programs!

All that is to… “Keep you from the TRUTH OF THE WORD OF GOD!” Who are YOU… Going to Believe… GOD… or the Watchtower?

Did you not Read the Wikipedia articles on the JW’S and Pastor Russell? … IF NOT… WHY NOT?

And the HOLY SPIRIT is Called GOD…! You are Taught that the HOLY SPIRIT IS ONLY AN ACTIVE FORCE AND NOT A PERSON! How then can one “LIE to an active Force?” One Cannot, one LIES TO A PERSON = CALLED GOD!

(Acts 5:3-4) But Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart for you to lie to the Holy Spirit, and to keep back part of the price of the land? (Acts 5:4) While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own authority? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God.

AND… The Very WORDS… of Jesus…?

(John 12:43-to-49) for they loved the glory of men more than the glory of God. (John 12:44) But Jesus cried out and said, He who believes on Me does not believe on Me but on Him who sent Me. (John 12:45) And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. (John 12:46) I have come as a Light into the world, so that whoever believes on Me should not remain in darkness. (John 12:47) And if any one hears My Words and does not believe, I do not judge him, for I do not come to judge the world, but to save the world. (John 12:48) He who rejects Me and does not receive My Words has one who judges him; the Word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. (John 12:49) For I have not spoken of Myself, but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say, and what I should speak. (John 12:50) And I know that His command is life everlasting. Therefore whatever I speak, even as the Father said to Me, so I speak.

And what about the WITTNESS… of the four Gospel Writers? At ONE TIME… In One Place…GOD… JESUS… and the HOLY SPIRIT… All Called… “GOD!” NOT Three GOD’s but ONE GOD… Manifested or Showed or Displayed… As “GOD!”

(Matthew 3:16-17) And Jesus, when He had been baptized, went up immediately out of the water. And lo, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon Him. (Matt 3:17) And lo, a voice from Heaven, saying, This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.[Father]

(Mark 1:10-11) And immediately coming up out of the water, He saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon Him. (Mark 1:11) And there came a voice from Heaven, saying, You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

(Luke 3:21-22) And it happened in the baptizing of all the people, Jesus also being baptized, and praying, and the heaven was opened. (Luke 3:22) And the Holy Spirit came down in a bodily shape, like a dove on Him. And a voice came from Heaven, which said, You are My Son, the Beloved; I am delighted in You.

(John 1:31-to-34) And I did not know Him, but that He be revealed to Israel, therefore I have come baptizing with water. (John 1:32) And John bore record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from Heaven like a dove, and He abode on Him. (John 1:33) And I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water, that One said to me, Upon whom you shall see the Spirit descending, and remaining upon Him, He is the One who baptizes with the Holy Spirit. (John 1:34) And I saw and bore record that this is the Son of God.

And YET… GOD IS ONE!

(Isaiah 44:6) So says Jehovah, the King of Israel, and His redeemer Jehovah of Hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and besides Me there is no God.

(Matthew 1:23) "Behold, the virgin shall conceive in her womb, and will bear a son. And they will call His name Emmanuel," which being interpreted is, God with us.

(Isaiah 9:6) For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be on His shoulder; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

When was GOD born?

This is what I will leave with you… “TO ASK GOD… IF His WORD… Is TRUE?”

And One Last THING… As I must Fulfill the Scripture and Tell YOU… as I was commanded to in Ezekiel 3:18-to-21.
