“The Word [Law] of God – 801”…Blog. Part: “EIGHT”.
A Very Special… ‘Hello’ to those of you that have been following this series, “The Word [Law] of God”… and its continuing thoughts. Someone said to me… ‘How do I know what you are saying about God is True?” A very good comment and my reply has been and always will be, “Compare God’s Word”… to what I have shared. If you disagree, please share it with me!
(Luke 24:31) And their eyes were opened, = and = they knew Him [Jesus]. = And He became = invisible to them.
(Luke 24:32) And they said = to one another, = Did not our heart burn within us = while He talked with us = by the way = and = while He opened = the Scriptures = to us?
One thing… is that your heart and mind and soul… must be opened to the Holy Spirit of God… to know the… ‘Things of God!’ Without that… it will just be one of those ‘other religions’. These disciples were having a discourse with Christ. He had opened their hearts and minds… to what the Scriptures… had said about the Messiah. That is what the Word of God… does to and for you. It reveals the Truth of God.
As an adult… I now can understand some things that I could not understand as a child. Simple things like… an electric bill, a house payment, a car payment, living expenses and something as important as… ‘Toilet Paper.’ When you were a child, did you ever have any idea what these things were and how they were obtained or even paid for? Most parents shielded their children from these pressures of life only to raise them to be ‘children’… instead of ‘adults’.
Did you know… that ‘The Law’… offers you “Protection?” The protection, that you need for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. IF there were no Law… society would be as barbaric as the cannibals. Others could take away your rights without impunity. Chaos would be the rule and individual would only have as much as the MOB allowed.
Did you also realize… that the Law [Word] of God… offers you too, that same protection and more? You shall Not… Kill, Commit Adultery, Steal and Lie… offer you protection when followed. Man’s law follows… those concepts and precepts found in the Bible. We here in America have our laws based on those principles and “English Law”. And from the “Magna Carta” and even from the code of Hammurabi… and certain nuances have come into modern law.

Why do you think… that mankind has chosen to live under some form of Law? What part of his psyche drives him to want such order? If we have ‘evolved’ from primates, why then would we need and want these restrictions… and not ‘complete freedom’ as the primates have? Our Jails are filled to over capacity with those that do now want the Law. They are kept there… to protect the rest of us!
(Romans 2:14-15) For whenever gentiles, = who do not possess = the law, = do instinctively = what the law requires, = they are a law to themselves, = even though = they do not have = the law.
(Rom 2:15) They show = that what = the law requires = is written in their hearts, = a fact to which = their own consciences testify, = and = their thoughts = will either accuse = or = excuse them
All Peoples of Earth… because they are the Creation of God… have the Law of God… in their makeup. Most peoples, as the above verse say… “Accuse or Excuse Them!” So too, you are exactly the same. “Say it isn’t So?” How about the “Speed Limit?” Do you ‘always’ drive the speed limit? Well you know… I was late for Work, or my Date or my Appointment! Your excuse was to cover your violation, of what you knew… was wrong as defined by the speed limit [Law].
When one is Born Again… by the Holy Spirit of God… they have that dynamic power… to keep the Word [Law] of God! It is simply called… “Obedience!” Well how then does one begin to know the Word of God? How then do they incorporate… “The Living Word”… into their lives, mind, emotions and will? You must first… ‘let it into your Mind!’ You only view the Videos and TV you want to! You only view those activities… that you select… do you not?
(Hebrews 10:15-16) The Holy Spirit = also assures us of this. = For He said,
(Heb 10:16) "This is the covenant = that I [GOD] = will make with them = after these days, = declares the Lord: = I will put my laws = in their hearts = and = will write them = on their minds,"
Perhaps Now is the time…! “When one is Born Again by the Holy Spirit… Does “GOD” open our minds and hearts and… ‘magically’… Put His Word & Laws there…?” ‘Absolutely… Not!’ But, He does give us the “Supernatural Ability”… to know and understand His Word… by His Holy Spirit. But there are some “Ground Rules”… principles that must be followed to make it work.
(2Timothy 2:15) Do your best = to present yourself = to God = as an approved worker = who has nothing to be ashamed of, = handling the Word of Truth = with precision.
(2Tim 2:16) However, = avoid pointless discussions. = For people will become = more and more ungodly,
Unless you Study… the Word of God… the Holy Spirit… cannot make it alive to your soul. You were taught… All you… ‘now know’. You did not get it by… ‘Osmosis’… or by ‘Knowing someone’ who was smart or wise. Sorry No! You had to learn it on your own. So it is with the Word of God… You must “Study” it yourself with God’s supernatural help… the Holy Spirit.
(2Timothy 3:12-to-17) Indeed, = all = who want to live a godly life = in union = with Christ Jesus = will be persecuted.
(2Tim 3:13) But evil people = and = impostors = will go from = bad to worse = as they deceive others = and = are themselves deceived.
(2Tim 3:14) But as for you, = continue in what you have learned = and = found to be True, = because you know from Whom = you learned it.
(2Tim 3:15) From infancy = you have known = the Holy Scriptures = that are able = to give you the wisdom = you need for salvation = through faith = in Christ Jesus.
(2Tim 3:16) All Scripture = is God-breathed = and = is useful for Teaching, = for Reproof, = for Correction, = and = for Training in Righteousness,
(2Tim 3:17) so that = the man of God = may be complete = and = thoroughly equipped = for every good work.
That is a pretty tall order… for those that come to Christ Jesus for Salvation! It that any less to be expected? Would you want a ‘mediocre’ surgeon for your surgery? How about for your financial planner? Or even when you go out to eat do you want your meal to be prepared with excellence… or one just slopped on your plate?
You choose Only… what you want! Well… I love God… ‘Why’ do I have to know His Word, isn’t Love just enough? Sorry… No! How do you demonstrate your… Love for God? How do you even know who you call… “GOD”… without knowing His Word? Well my preacher told me this or that! Oh yes… was what he said… “100% accurate and without any error?”
(Numbers 23:19) God is not a man = that He should Lie, = neither the son of man = that He should repent. = Has He said, = and = shall He not do it? = Or has He spoken, = and = shall He not make it good?
Do you know… what God says in His Word? If you do not know His Word… then you do not know “His Thoughts and His Ways”. He is not going to keep us in the dark about His Word… but He will not teach us… if we will do Nothing… with what we have learned.
Have you ever know… a professional student? One that continues, to go to school and obtain ‘degree after degree’ and never applying those degrees… to any work? This is parallel to our “Entertainment Addicted”… American society. We have so much entertainment… that we never want to do any on our own. We revel in those that get Olympic Gold Medals… but we have never tried out for that sport… ourselves.
So it is… in many of the Churches. The attendees ‘Never’ study the Bible on their own. They never even look into the Text, in either ‘Greek NT or Hebrew OT’. They are simply… “Sitting on the premises… instead of standing on the promises”. They have their preacher tell them what God’s Word means… and never become a part of the solution. [i.e.] The Gospel… to the Lost!
It goes something like this…! What do you believe? Well, I believe what my Church believes! Well what does your Church believe? Well my Church believes what my Pastor believes! Well what does your Pastor believe? Well he believes what our Church believes! Well what do you believe? We all believe the Same Thing!
(James 1:22) Keep on being = doers of the Word, = and = not merely hearers = who Deceive = themselves.
The Word of God… is “the what” we take to Know God. Without it… “One Cannot Know God… Intimately!” Why else do you think that there are so many denominations with so many different creeds and beliefs? Simply put… they have believed the denomination… instead of what God has said in His Word… The Bible!
A ‘Real’ Christian… is ‘Not Afraid’… of the Word of God! When one knows the God of the Bible and His Nature and Attributes… ‘he or she’… then knows about Divine Forgiveness! Without that knowledge of God… from His Word… that person struggles with the “Issues of Life!” It is not the God of the Bible… nor is it His Word… that turns one off from “God’s Truth!” It is simply… “Fear”… based on their ‘Ignorance of the Word of God!’
(John 3:18-19-20) Whoever = believes in Him = is not condemned, = but = whoever does not believe = has already been condemned, = because = he has not believed in the Name of God's unique Son [Jesus].
(John 3:19) And this is = the basis for judgment: = The light = has come into the world, = but = people loved the darkness = more than the light = because = their actions were evil.
(John 3:20) For everyone = who practices wickedness = hates the light = and = does not come to the light, = so that his actions may not be exposed.
Almost all know… that “Christ Jesus” came to give ‘Forgiveness’ to those that will come to Him on His Terms! Yet they will not come to Him… for that Forgiveness! There is nothing you can do to save yourself from your… “Sin/Sins.” Why would you miss out on such a Blessing of Forgiveness…?
God will use… “His Law & His Word”… to judge you on that last day! You may say… “Well I will just wait till I am ready to die to come to God.” It does not work that way! When you reject the Light of Truth, the Word of God… you choose ‘Blindness’... to Spiritual Truth!
(2Corinthians 6:1-2) Since, then, = we are working with God, = we plead with you = not to accept God's grace = in vain.
(2Cor 6:2) For He says, = "At the right time I heard you, = and = on a day of salvation = I helped you." = Listen, = now is really the "right time"! = Now is the "day of salvation"!
(Romans 10:9-to-13) If you = declare with your mouth that = Jesus is Lord, = and = believe in your heart = that God raised Him = from the dead, = you will be saved.
(Rom 10:10) For a person believes = with his heart = and = is justified, = and a person declares = with his mouth = and is saved.
(Rom 10:11) For the Scripture says, = "Everyone who believes in Him = will not be ashamed."
(Rom 10:12) For there is = no difference = between Jew and Greek, = because = they all = have the same Lord, = Who gives richly = to all = who call on Him.
(Rom 10:13) For = "Everyone = who calls on = the Name of the Lord = will be saved."
