“Understanding ‘Forgiveness’ – 301” …Blog. [3/?]
In reality, All Unrighteousness is “SIN”…! All finite sinful human beings… do ‘Not’ measure up to “God’s Requirement of = Perfection”…! Hence, “ALL”… need the Savior… to save them from… “FIRST”… the “Penalty of Sin”… which is; “Death & Eternal torment in the Lake of Fire!” “SECOND”… from the “Power of Sin”… which ‘rules’ the lives of mankind encompassing their “Agendas of Life” Our sinful humanness cannot; by the Law of God… overcome this “Power of Sin!” “SIN is the Root… SINS are the Fruit”…! A child is; “NEVER” taught to disobey their Parents; it is simply part of their “Fallen Human Nature.” It is passed onto the human race… by the “Disobedience” of ‘Adam & Eve’…! The same for Adults! You know the “Traffic Laws”… and still drive… ‘Over the Speed Limit!’ Your employer gives you a ‘15-minute break’… and you and everyone else takes 20! And the list goes on and on and on! You want… what you want… when you want it…! No ‘One’ is going to tell you… ‘You Can’t!’ And the only thing stopping you… is that you might… ‘Get Caught!’ “SIN is the Root… SINS are the Fruit”…! That is why… You & I & Everyone… needs the Savior: “Christ Jesus”… to ‘Save You’ from your “SIN/SINS!”
*** (1John 5:17) All ‘unrighteousness’ is sin; and there is a sin, ‘not’ to death.
*** (Galatians 2:21) I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness is through law; = then Christ died without cause.
*** (Romans 5:12-to-15) Therefore, even as through one man [Adam]; sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed on “ALL” men inasmuch as “ALL” sinned:
(Rom 5:13) for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
(Rom 5:14) But death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is the type of Him who was to come;
(Rom 5:15) but the free gift shall ‘not’ be also like the offense. For if by the offense of the one [Adam] many died; much more the grace of God, and the gift in grace; which is of the one Man; Jesus Christ, abounded to ‘many’.
*** (John 7:38-39) The one who believes in Me [Jesus]; as the Scripture has said, will have rivers of living water flowing from his heart."
(John 7:39) Now he said this about the [Holy] Spirit; Whom those who were believing in Him were to receive. For the [Holy] Spirit was not yet present, because Jesus had not yet been glorified. [Luke 24:49 & Acts 2:1-4]
*** (John 3:6) That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
(John 3:7) Do not marvel that I [Jesus] said to you; You ‘must’ be born again.
Those that are ‘Truly Born Again’ by God’s Holy Spirit… are the Children of God! Their “Savior–Christ Jesus”… paid for “ALL” their: “SIN/SINS”… when He said… “It is Finished”… died and rose again… for their Justification! Justification is simply a Legal Term… for their “Positional Forgiveness for Ever!” But there is then the… “Practical Forgiveness”… which we need to practice in our everyday life. God the Father has given us His… “Holy Spirit”… to convict us of our SIN/SINS! He convicts ‘Not Only’… the Believer; but the “Unbeliever”…! Why else do you think that ‘Unbelievers’… “Mock the Bible & Christians”…? You wouldn’t mock something like a ‘Pink Elephant’… because they are “Not Real!” IF the Bible was not real… why would the Unbeliever… “Mock it and its followers”…? When the Child of God sins… they know it and then… “Have a Choice!” They either “Confess and forsake IT”… or they keep it and then ‘Expect a Spanking’… from their Heavenly Father! They also loose fellowship and grieve the Holy Spirit… so they cannot hear Him! They also miss the ‘Peace of God’…!
*** (Romans 5:1-to-5) Therefore being justified by faith; we have ‘peace’ with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
(Rom 5:2) Through Him we also have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice on the hope of the glory of God.
(Rom 5:3) And not only this; but we glory in afflictions also, knowing that afflictions work out patience,
(Rom 5:4) and patience works out experience, and experience works out hope.
(Rom 5:5) And hope does not make us ashamed, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit given to us.
*** (John 16:7-to-11) But I [Jesus] tell you the Truth; it is expedient for you that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Comforter [the Holy Spirit] will not come to you. But if I depart, I will send Him to you.
(Joh 16:8) And when that One comes, He will convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment.
(Joh 16:9) Concerning sin; because they do not believe on Me;
(Joh 16:10) concerning righteousness; because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;
(Joh 16:11) concerning judgment; because the ruler of this world is judged.
*** (Matthew 3:8) Bring forth therefore fruits; worthy of repentance;
*** (Proverbs 28:13) He who covers his sins shall not be blessed; but whoever ‘confesses’ and ‘leaves’ them; shall have mercy.
*** (1John 1:5-to-10) And this is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.
(1Jn 1:6) If we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness; we lie and do not practice the Truth.
(1Jn 1:7) But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light; we have fellowship with one another; and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
(1Jn 1:8) If we say that we have ‘no sin’; we deceive ourselves, and the Truth is ‘not’ in us.
(1Jn 1:9) If we confess our sins; He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins; and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
(1Jn 1:10) If we say that we have ‘not’ sinned; we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.
*** (Ephesians 4:30-31-32) And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God; by Whom you are sealed; until the day of redemption.
(Eph 4:31) Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and tumult and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
(Eph 4:32) And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another; even as God for Christ's sake = has forgiven you.
Repentance – 101 Blog [1/6]
“PRACTICAL FORGIVENESS”… deals with SIN/SINS… as soon as we are ‘Convicted’ by God’s Holy Spirit… Who indwells us! Have you ever been short with someone… and then gone to them and asked forgiveness…? That is one practical example of “Practical Forgiveness!” Is there simple test to see “IF” you are really listening to the “Indwelling Holy Spirit?” How about your Love for His Holy Word. Those who are in fellowship with Christ; desire more knowledge and obedience. Those who are Not… do not want more of His Holy Word. Simply open your Bible and read about those 7-Churches in Revelation ‘chapters 2 & 3’. What did the Spirit say to those Believers in those Churches…? They were Not practicing that… “Practical Forgiveness”… a told ‘What?’ ‘Confession’ must be accompanied with ‘Repentance’… and ‘Repentance’ must be accompanied with… “Forsaking that Sin!”
*** (Ephesians 4:28) Let him who stole = steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, so that he may have something to give to him who needs.
*** (Titus 1:16) They claim to ‘know’ God; = but they ‘Deny’ Him by their ‘actions’. They are detestable, disobedient, and disqualified; to do anything good.
*** (Romans 10:3) For they, being [willingly] ‘ignorant’ of God's righteousness; and going about to establish their ‘own’ righteousness; = have ‘Not’ submitted themselves to the righteousness of God.
(Rom 10:4) For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness; for ‘everyone’ who believes.
*** (1John 1:8-9-10) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the Truth; is “Not” in us.
(1Jn 1:9) If we confess our sins; He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
(1Jn 1:10) If we say that we have ‘Not’ sinned, we make Him [God] a ‘Liar’; = and His Word is ‘Not’ in us.
*** (1Peter 4:1-to-5) Therefore, since Christ suffered in the sphere of the flesh; you, too, ‘Must’ arm yourselves with the same determination. For the person who has suffered in the sphere of the flesh has stopped sinning,
(1Pet 4:2) so that he can live the rest of his time in the flesh guided; ‘Not’ by human desires; but by the will [Word] of God.
(1Pet 4:3) For you spent enough time in the past doing what the gentiles like to do, living in sensuality, sinful desires, drunkenness, wild celebrations, drinking parties, and detestable idolatry.
(1Pet 4:4) They insult you now because; they are surprised that you are no longer joining them in the same ‘excesses’ of wild living.
(1Pet 4:5) They will give an account to the One [Jesus]; Who is ready to ‘judge’ the living and the dead.
To really understand “Practical Forgiveness”… think of some “SIN”; you did ‘before’ you came to Christ…? Did you ever use Profanity… as most do…? Did you sleep around…? Did you mock Christians and their Bible…? Or were you one of those ‘Self Righteous’ religious persons… that despised ‘Others?’ Do you get yourself and others Drunk…? I am ‘NOT’ telling you to be a ‘List Person’… and think you are better because you… ‘No Longer’ do those things! I find that even as I read the Holy Word of God… I get convicted of some SIN/SINS… that I thought I did not practice! How ‘about’… “Not Forgiving”… that person that “Really Screwed [excuse the language] You OVER”…? Perhaps it was some guy that took advantage of You… sexually and then You had a Abortion…? You can barely forgive ‘yourself’ and that other person. This is where the “Practical Forgiveness”… really comes into your life! You forgive yourself… because Jesus has “Forgiven You”…! When you came to Christ Jesus… He forgave all your… “SIN/SINS”… past, present & future. Knowing & Realizing that… “Keeps ONE”… from continuing to… “Practice SIN/SINS”
*** (Hebrews 9:14) how much more will the blood of Christ; Who through the eternal Spirit; offered Himself unblemished to God; = ‘cleanse’ our consciences ‘from’ dead works = so that we may ‘serve’ the Living God!
*** (Galatians 5:16-17) I say, then; Walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.
(Gal 5:17) For the flesh lusts [wars]; against the Spirit; and the Spirit ‘against’ the flesh. And these are ‘contrary’ to one another; lest ‘whatever’ you may will, these things you do.
*** (Luke 17:10) So likewise you; when you shall have done ‘all’ the things commanded you, say; We are unprofitable servants; for we have done what we ‘ought’ to do.
*** (James 1:22) Keep on being Doers of the WORD; and ‘Not’ merely hearers; who Deceive themselves.
*** (Romans 6:1) What shall we ‘say’ then? Shall we ‘continue’ in sin; = that grace may abound? [Not!]
(Rom 6:2) God forbid! How shall we; that are ‘dead’ to sin [‘s power]; = live ‘any’ longer therein?
*** (Romans 6:16) Don't you know; that when you ‘offer’ yourselves to someone; as obedient slaves; = you ‘Are’ slaves of the one you obey; = ‘either’ of sin, which leads to death; = or of ‘obedience’; which leads to righteousness?
*** (Jas 1:14) Instead, ‘each’ person is tempted; by his ‘own’ desire; = being ‘lured’ and ‘trapped’ by it.
(Jas 1:15) When that desire ‘becomes’ pregnant; it gives ‘birth’ to sin; and when that sin grows up; it gives birth to ‘death’.
(Jas 1:16) Do ‘not’ be deceived, my dear brothers.
