“Understanding ‘Forgiveness’ – 401” …Blog. [4/?]

“Understanding ‘Forgiveness’ – 401” …Blog. [4/?]

Someone asked… “Why do you post all these Bible verses in your blogs?” Why is there so very much material… in your discussion of any topic? The Bible is much more extensive… and I only scratch the surface of any topic… in hopes that it will spur you to go onto a deeper study of the topic! Many times people speak about a topic… because they have heard someone else speak or share what they have learned. But the… “True Test”… of what you believe is… “Are You willing to Die = for what you believe”…? The early Church, the Body of Christ, those Born Again by God’s Holy Spirit… gave their lives as Martyrs for what they Believed! Here today… “Easy Believe-ism”… has so penetrated the Church; so that whatever you believe… is “OK!”  Even if it does NOT hold to the Complete Authority of the Holy Word of God!

*** (1Jn 1:6) If we ‘claim’ that we have fellowship with Him; but keep ‘living’ in the darkness; we are ‘Lying’ = and the Truth is not in us.
(1Jn 1:7) But if we ‘keep living’ in the Light; as He [Jesus] Himself is in the light; we have ‘fellowship’ with one another = and the blood of Jesus; His [God’s] Son = cleanses us from ‘All’ sin.

In “1John 1:7” it reads in the English NT as… “Cleanses us from All SIN/SINS”…! But in the NT Greek text it is in the… “Present”, “Continual Sense”. It could better read… in the English… “Keeps On Cleansing Us from All Sin”…! Think of a Water Fall… continually cleansing you as your stand under it. In the same way, this “Positional Forgiveness”… plays out in… “Practical Forgiveness”… when we realize that it was… MY SIN… that Nailed JESUS to the Cross…! Why then… would I go on… Sinning…?

Why then… would I go on… “Sinning”…?

Did you know… there is ‘Another Side’ of the… “Practical Forgiveness”… that we extend: to ‘Others?’ When you are “Forgiven” by Christ Jesus… you then have that ‘Holy Spirit Power’… to forgive ‘Others!’ NO… I did not say… “Excuse away their SIN/SINS – without holding them Accountable!” IF a person borrows from you… and does not pay back what was borrowed; ‘What do You do?” IF you do nothing… you enable that one… to continue with their SIN/SINS. Surely you have read… “1Corinthains 5:1-to-6”… and the entire Church; caught up in validation of those sins? How about… “Matthew 18:15-to-18”… Forgiveness was… “Offered & Rejected!” Many today simply excuse away SIN/SINS… and they say… “We are under Grace and Not under the Law!” What they… “Purposely Fail to Distinguish”… is their “Personal Responsibility”… from their SIN/SINS. When we chose NOT to hold one Accountable… we enable… the “Ability & Modality”… “To ‘Continue’ in SIN/SINS!”

*** (Ecclesiastes 8:11) Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily; = therefore the heart of the sons of men = is fully set in them = to do evil.

*** (Isaiah 5:20) Woe to those = who call evil good = and good evil; = who put darkness for light = and light for darkness; = who put bitter for sweet = and sweet for bitter!

*** (Luke 11:42) But woe to you, Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and every herb, = and pass over = judgment = and the love of God. = You ‘ought’ to have done these; and = ‘Not’ = to leave the other = ‘undone].

“Grace Away Sin – 101”…Blog.

What about “IF” someone wrongs you…? Or… “IF”… you know about a wrong…? These are also extended areas of… “Practical Forgiveness” There are Scriptures to cover ‘Every area of Life… just as Christ Jesus said in… “Matthew 4:4 & Luke 4:4”…! But most who call the Blessed Name of Christ Jesus… spend “MORE” time listening to [Supposed] Christian Music & Videos… and “Hardly ‘ANY’ Time”… in the Study of the Scriptures! There are Scriptural principles for every fact and problem of Life! Knowing the Scriptures, the Bible; is different than ‘Knowing About’… the Scriptures, the Bible! Many know Bible stores but… “Cannot Discern”… what lessons come from that ‘particular’ story in the Holy Word of God…!

*** (2Timothy 2:15-16) Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
(2Tim 2:16)  But shun profane, vain babblings; for they will increase to more ungodliness.

*** (2Timothy 3:15-16-17) and that from a child you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
(2Tim 3:16) All Scripture is God-breathed; and is profitable = for DOCTRINE [Teaching]; = for REPROOF; = for CORRECTION; = for Instruction in Righteousness,
(2Tim 3:17) that the man of God may be perfected; thoroughly furnished = to every good work.

*** (1Timothy 1:20) Among these are Hymeneus and Alexander; = whom I have delivered to Satan = so that they may learn = Not to blaspheme [God].

*** (1Timothy 5:20) Those who sin; ‘Rebuke’ before ‘all’ = so that the rest ‘also’ may fear [God]. [Galatians 2:11-to-16]

*** (Matthew 18:21-22) Then Peter came to Him [Jesus] and said; Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Until seven times?
(Matt 18:22) Jesus said to him, I do not say to you, Until seven times; but, Until seventy times seven.

*** (Matthew 6:14-15) For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you;
(Matt 6:15) but if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

*** (2Timothy 4:14-15) Alexander the metalworker did me a great deal of harm. The Lord will pay him back for what he did.
(2Tim 4:15) You, too, must watch out for him; for he ‘violently’ opposed our message.

*** (Romans 8:14) For as many as are led; by the Spirit of God; they are the sons of God.

*** (Colossians 3:12-to-17) Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender feelings of mercy, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long-suffering,
(Col 3:13) forbearing one another and forgiving yourselves, if anyone has a complaint against any. As Christ forgave you, so also you do.
(Col 3:14) And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfectness.
(Col 3:15) And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you also are called in one body, and be thankful.
(Col 3:16) Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
(Col 3:17) And everything, whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.

*** (Hebrews 12:14-to-32) Follow peace with all, and holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord;
(Heb 12:15) looking diligently lest any fail of the grace of God, or lest any root of bitterness springing up disturb you, and by it many are defiled,
(Eph 4:29)  Let not any filthy word go out of your mouth, but if any is good to building up in respect of need, that it may give grace to the ones hearing.
(Eph 4:30)  And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you are sealed until the day of redemption.
(Eph 4:31)  Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and tumult and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
(Eph 4:32)  And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you.

Entrapment – 101 Blog.

About Now someone is ‘Saying’… “It sounds as though the Bible contradicts itself… speaking out about Evil & Wrong… and then at the same time… ‘Forgiving’ Others”…? Perhaps that is why we are told to… “Walk in the Spirit – Galatians 5:16”… and then… “Be led by the Spirit – Romans 8:14”…! IF you need to confront one about the ‘Wrong’ they are doing then perhaps first…  “Discern their Intent & Actions”… and then act accordingly to… “Galatians 6:1 & Matthew 18:15-to-18 & 1Timothy 5:1”…? All these are included in ‘Other Bible Verses’…! So being “Led by the Holy Spirit” and by the “Holy Word of God”… is the only way to insure your… ‘Motives & Actions’… are right before God. Even contending for the True Faith… is involved in these actions. Remember those… ‘God Haters & Mockers’… “May just be Sheep; that have ‘Not’ yet come to; the ‘Master & Shepherd’ of the Sheep… Christ Jesus”…!

*** (Luke 18:7) And shall not God avenge His own elect who cry day and night to Him, though He has been long-suffering over them?
(Luke 18:8) I [Jesus] say to you that He will avenge them speedily [Genesis 18:25]. Yet when the Son of Man comes, shall He find [True Biblical] Faith on the earth?

*** (Jud 1:3)  Dear friends, although I was eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I found it necessary to write to you and urge you to continue your vigorous defense of the faith that was passed down to the saints once and for all.
(Jud 1:4)  For some people have slipped in among you unnoticed. They were written about long ago as being deserving of this condemnation because they are ungodly. They turn the grace of our God into uncontrollable lust and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
*** (2Jn 1:9) Everyone who does not abide in the teaching of Christ but goes beyond it does not have God. The person who abides in the teaching of Christ has both the Father and the Son.
(2Jn 1:10) If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your home or even greet him,
(2Jn 1:11) for the one who greets him shares in his evil deeds.

*** (Joh 10:16)  I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must lead these also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock and one shepherd.

It is “Demanded… by the Scriptures”…. that we “Choose [JUDGE]”… between “Good & Evil”… by “JUDGING”… by Using the Holy Word of God!

“Judge not – 101”…Blog.

*** (2Ti 2:24) A servant of the Lord must not argue. Instead, he must be kind to everyone, teachable, willing to suffer wrong,
(2Ti 2:25) and gentle in refuting his opponents. After all; maybe God will allow them to repent; and to come to a ‘full knowledge’ of the Truth,
(2Ti 2:26) so that they might ‘escape’ from the devil's snare; even though they've been held ‘captive’ by him to do his will.

… AND…

*** (2Timothy 4:2-to-5) preach the Word, be instant in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.
(2Tim 4:3) For a time will be when they will ‘Not’ endure sound doctrine’ but they will heap up teachers to themselves according to their own lusts, tickling the ear.
(2Tim 4:4) And they will turn away their ears from the Truth: and will be turned to myths.
(2Tim 4:5) But you watch in all things; ‘endure’ afflictions; do the work of an evangelist; [Luke 24:44-to-48] fully carry out your ministry [Titus 2:3-4-5].

*** (Ezekiel 2:7) And you shall ‘speak’ My Words to them; whether they will ‘hear’ or whether they will ‘forbear’; for they are ‘rebellious’.

*** (Jeremiah 1:8) Do not be afraid of their faces; for I am with you to deliver you, says Jehovah [God].

Love; in Christ, Roger / Ezekiel 3:18-to-21.
