Word of God”…? There is a “Principle of Life to Live Godly” by; in His Holy
Word for… “Each & Every Situation!” The problem is that ‘Everyone’ wants…
“Instant Solutions!” Any physical harm that we do to our ‘Human Bodies’ is
simply a “Choice!” ‘Smoking or Overeating’ are all indications of an…
“Un-Disciplined Life!” No one holds a gun to your head and makes ‘You’ –> light up that “Cigarette”… do
they? No one holds a gun to your head and make ‘You’ –> “Over Eat”… do they? These and many others are simply your “Choice!”
If ‘You’ have not read completely through your Bible… ‘You’ probably do not
know this. If… ‘You’ are Truly Born Again by the Holy Spirit of God… ‘You’ have
His Holy Spirit Power… to ‘Overcome’ and to ‘Discipline’ your own self!
Remember discipleship does not come easy. The Olympian Athlete trains for
years! ‘Mushrooms’ grow up almost overnight… but “Oak Trees” takes years of ‘Growth’.
When was the last time ‘You’ saw a good piece of “Expensive Furniture”… made out
of “Mushrooms?”

What you endure is for the sake of discipline. God is treating you as sons. Is
there a son whom his father does not discipline?

faith; prove your own selves. Do you not know your own selves; that Jesus
Christ is in you [Romans 8:9]; unless you are reprobates?
There are “Massive Health Problems”… directly connected to “Smoking &
Being Overweight” choices. In Canada,
there are ‘Color Photos’ of the organs affected by Smoking right on the
Cigarette packs. In the USA, these are ‘Not’ there. Many Governments… “TAX the
Cigarettes & Alcohol”… and would not directly stop people from using them.
They want the “Tax Revenue”… and do ‘Not’ really care about the Humans. Their
‘Faulty Logic’ goes like this. Since they do ‘Not’ care about the “Unborn Baby
Humans”… why should we care about the Surviving ones? People are nothing more
than ‘Tax Revenue’… in their minds. “NOW”… this responsibility is “Yours” and… “No
One Else’s!” ‘You’ must make your “Choices!” Oh yes, the Physical PRICE: for
“Smoking & Over Eating” is… “Paid Later”… and “Not Immediately!” One
weekend while completing an Emergency Medicine class, I was working in an
Emergency Room. A senior male was admitted with “Chest Pains & Emphysema”. We started a Lidocaine drip IV and ‘Rotating
Tourniquets’ on three limbs. Oxygen administered by mask @ 6 LPM was also
started. His wife told me he had has 6 heart attacks already. He pulled off his
Oxygen mask and asked… “Hey Buddy, do ‘You’… have a ‘Cig’ for Me?” Death was
waiting outside and would soon visit him.

of Thousands” of… “Little Choices!” We choose ‘How’ to respond… out of our
“Character” –> or “Lack Thereof!”
A friend of mine asked me to help him stop smoking. I told him I would… “IF he
would sign a Contract”. He asked me, what kind of Contract? I said one where each
time ‘You’… “Smoke a Cigarette: ‘You’ give me One Dollar!” He did not want to
sign. It takes a real ‘Life Changing’ experience to stop smoking. Perhaps ‘You’
thought ‘You’ were a Christian…? Perhaps ‘You’ have religion only? When Christ
Jesus by His Holy Spirit comes into a Sinner… He makes that on a Saint!

Your body is the Temple the Holy Spirit…! Why then would ‘You’ want to ‘defile’:
God’s Temple? Of course, “Discipline” for the Child of God is just… “Simple
Obedience!” If ‘You’ know something is “Wrong”… and “You do it Anyway”… what
does that say about your “Relationship with Christ”…? What about “Starting Over”…?
That is your decision. If ‘You’ “Smoke”
Then: “Choose Not To!” If ‘You’ are Overweight… Then: start on a Controlled Caloric
Intake [Diet] & Exercise program. Of course, by all means… see your Medical
Professional for “Medical Testing”. Some
‘Overweight’ problems may be an indication of other unknown: “Medical Problems.”
All of these are no different than… making a daily decision… to meet with
Christ Jesus in His Holy Word: “Daily!” …Not To Decide… is simply: To Decide Not
TO!

and = in order.
*** (2Corinthians 4:7) But we have this Treasure [Romans 8:9] in
earthen [our human bodies] vessels; that the excellency of the [His Holy

to help me… act as Your Child… in ‘Every & Each”… “Area of my Life”. Help
me to become a witness of “Your Grace, & Mercy & Love”… in Jesus Name
