has gone up to Heaven and has
come down? Who has gathered the wind
in His fists? Who has bound the
waters in His garments? Who has established all the ends of the
earth? What is His name, and what is
His Son's name? Surely you know.
Because “New
Year’s Day” comes soon… ‘Some’ are planning a “Bible Study Regimen” for
this next year. I have seen some posts on the various “Social Networking Sites”,
such as Face Book & Twitter. But all seem to be taking an “Academic
Approach”. I thought this “Strange”, “Because: Christ Jesus is the Holy Living
Word of God”…! If You approach ‘Reading & Studying’ His Holy Word as
Academic: just perhaps something is “Missing”…? [2Corinthains 13:5] Remember, the OT Jews substituted their “Talmud
& the Tradition of the Elders”: for His Holy Word. It seems as though NT
Christians… do ‘Not’ even: “Want to KNOW: His Holy Word”…! [Amos
8:11] No wonder there are so very many “Manmade Denominations!” Yet, each
one “Claims” to know Jesus and be the “Right One!” And they cannot even agree
on What: His Holy Word: “Teaches!”

May I share
a ‘True Story’…? I have been Born Again for some years. It has
been my practice to meet with Jesus in His Holy Word… ‘Each morning’… “Mark 1:35 & 1Samuel 3:21.” I
alternate between NT & OT books… as our Lord leads me… “Romans 8:14”. One morning I was reading… “2Chronicles 12:14” and was “Convicted by God’s Holy Spirit”…
that I was ‘Not’ practicing His Word; in ‘NOT’ preparing my heart: before
reading His Word. According to “Proverbs
28:13” & “1John 1:5-to-10”… I immediately ‘confessed & changed’ my
“Actions”… and have made this my ‘practice’… for some time.
The Holy
Spirit… brought to my mind… “Ezra
7:10”… and I adopted that as ‘Obedience to Christ’… before ‘Any’ spiritual
practice… Prayer, Bible Study, Praise and yes… even Witnessing to others… “1Peter 3:15.” Also I remembered… “1Corinthians 11:28-to-32”… and it ‘all’ made sense! God, Our
Lord… wants a “Prepared Heart”… before we come to Him! It was the Holy Spirit
of God… that ‘used’ His Holy Word… to change not only my mind… and my heart…
“But To Obey Him”… out of His Love for me… and my Love for Him! … “Luke 17:10!”
*** (Psalms 119:11) I have hidden Your Word in my heart; so
that I might not sin against You [Lord].

3:15) but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and be ready always to give
an answer to everyone who asks you a reason of the hope in you, with meekness

For some time now… I have simply gone to bed and “Slept
in the New Year!” The World celebrates the New Year: mainly with getting “Drunk
& Partying!” Did You ever wonder IF: some of them were ‘Christians’…? How
did they feel the “Next Morning”…? Did they give the ‘First Part’ of their day
to HIM: in His Holy Word…? Christ Jesus met with His Heavenly Father: God, each
morning. Do You meet with Him: each morning…? Do You meditate on those
Scripture verses that He showed You from His Holy Word…? Why else, would have
His Holy Spirit [Romans 8:9]… “But to lead You into His Truth”…? Isn’t His
example for “Life & Godliness”… ‘Enough’…? Did YOU open Your BIBLE... and Meet with
Christ JESUS in His “HOLY WORD”... = BEFORE = ‘YOU’... Turned on ‘Your’… TV,
Computer, Radio, or Cell Phone...? [Matthew
32:27]

is difficult to explain because you have become too lazy to understand.

fact, though by now you should be teachers, you still need someone to teach you
the basic truths of God's word. You have become people who need milk instead of
solid food.

For everyone who lives on milk is still a baby and is inexperienced in the
message of righteousness.
