*** (Colossians 2:2-3) that their hearts might be comforted; being knit together in love [Agape]; and to all riches of the full assurance of the understanding; to the full knowledge of the mystery of God; and of the Father; and of Christ; [Matt 4:4 & Luke 4:4]
(Col 2:3) in Whom are hidden; all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Recently another Christian asked me… “What is this teaching about a Soul Mate”…? Perhaps let us look at the “Negative” First; and then the ‘Positive’ of a “Marriage in Christ”…? It is ‘not’ a Bible doctrine… but is one that the world often uses. ‘IF’ you will Google this word… you will get a plethora of the Worlds’ wisdom! And “None of God’s Wisdom”… found in His Holy Word; The Bible…! I even know of one instance; where the husband divorced his wife; and the woman divorced her husband. They then married… claiming they found their; ‘Soul Mate’. Their ‘divorce & remarriage’ was Adultery… so ‘How’ did they find their; ‘Soul Mate’…? ‘Soul Mates’ in Evil…! The ‘world & societies’ are desperately and without success… trying to improve on God’s ‘Standard for Marriage’… “One Woman & One Man = Till Death do us Part!” Remember the World… “Hates God’s Holy Word”… and will NOT; hold to His Holy Standard; “Marriage & Fidelity” for mankind…!
*** (Genesis 2:18) And the LORD God said; It is not good that the man should be alone; I [God] will make him an help meet for him.
*** (Genesis 2:21-to-25) And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam; and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
(Gen 2:22) And the rib; which the LORD God had taken from man; made he a woman; and brought her unto the man.
(Gen 2:23) And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones; and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman; because she was taken out of Man.
(Gen 2:24) Therefore shall a man ‘leave’ his father and his mother; and shall ‘cleave’ unto his wife: and they shall be ‘one’ flesh.
(Gen 2:25) And they were both naked; the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
*** (Matthew 19:9) I [Jesus] tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality; and marries another woman commits adultery.
(Matt 19:10) His disciples said to him, “If that is the relationship of a man with his wife; it's not worth getting married!”
(Matt 19:11) But He [Jesus] said to them; “Not everyone can accept this saying; except those to whom celibacy has been granted.
(Matt 19:12) For some men are celibate from birth; while others are celibate because they have been made that way by others. Still others are celibate because; they have made themselves that way; for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let ‘anyone’ accept this; who can.”
*** (Matthew 5:32) But I [Jesus] say to you; any man who divorces his wife; except for sexual immorality; causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
*** (Mark 10:11) So He [Jesus] said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife; and marries another woman; commits adultery against her.
(Mark 10:12) And if a woman divorces her husband; and marries another man; she commits adultery.”
*** (Malachi 2:16) Jehovah, the God of Israel says; He ‘hates’ divorce; and to cover with violence on his garment, says Jehovah of Hosts. Then guard your spirit, and ‘do not’ act Treacherously.
Remarriage -101 . Blog Adultery
The ‘Principles’ for Marriage… are found in God’s Holy Word; the Bible. Many today [50%]; who call the Blessed Name of Christ Jesus; are divorced & remarried. Still many of them… have never been Born Again; by God’s Holy Spirit! They may have a… ‘Christian [by name only] Religion’… and profess to Know HIM [Jesus]… but their Works [Lifestyle] gives them Away! America is a “Spiritually Sick” nation; who has long ago… “Refused to ‘Obey’ God’s Holy Word!” So where does that leave one… looking for a ‘Soul Mate’…? Once again… Soul Mate’ is Not a Biblical term! Want an example..? A Soul Mate IS… A ‘Man & Woman’ = who have watched enough of those ‘Chic Flicks’; = and have become ‘Worldly Indoctrinated; = and in Total Agreement with that “Hollywood Fantasy Thinking!” There are more… ‘On Line Dating Sites’… marketing the ‘Magical Relationship = Mojo & Fantasy’… so that ‘You’ can find your Soul Mate… On Line! …NOT! …LOL! …LOL! …LOL!

(Eph 5:22) Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands; as to the Lord.
(Eph 5:23) For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.
(Eph 5:24) Therefore as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
(Eph 5:25) Husbands, love [Agape] your wives; even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it,
(Eph 5:26) that He might sanctify and cleanse it; with the washing of water; by the Word,
(Eph 5:27) that He might present it to Himself as the glorious church, without spot or wrinkle or any such things; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
(Eph 5:28) So men ought to love [Agape] their wives as their own bodies. He who loves [Agape] his wife loves [Agape] himself.
(Eph 5:29) For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it; even as the Lord loves the church.
(Eph 5:30) For we are members of [Christs’] His body; of His flesh; and of His bones. [The Bride of Christ – The Church = Revelation 21:9]
(Eph 5:31) “For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother; and shall be joined to his wife; and the two of them shall be one flesh.”
(Eph 5:32) This is a great mystery; but I speak concerning Christ and the church. [Genesis 2:21-to-25]
(Eph 5:33) But also let everyone of you in particular so love [Agape] his wife even as himself, and the wife that she defers [leadership] to her husband.
“Agape”… is that God’s Love… that flows through those ‘Truly’ Born Again; by God’s Holy Spirit! The Agape can… “ONLY”… come from God; and then flow through us…! Did ‘You’ notice the “Word Picture” of the… “Church=&=The Christian Marriage”…? The Word… “Agape”… is used throughout these passages. Have you read the book of ‘Hosea’…? He had a wife… who left him after 3 children… and became a ‘Prostitute’. Had God ever wanted a case for Divorce; He would have uses this one. God is always interested in Reconciliation=“2Corinthians 5:18-to-21” But Hosea, is a “Word Picture” of that “Agape Love”… that is necessary in any Christian marriage. It is that same “Agape Love”… that makes any relationship work. Never in Ephesians 5… were those Greek words use for… “Eros/Sexual Love”… or… “Philo/Brotherly Love”… used in the above verses… for ‘Marriage’. Yes, they are an important part of any marriage… but the “Overriding Drive”… must be… “Agape Love!”
*** (Matthew 10:34) Do not think that I [Jesus] have come to bring peace on earth. I did not come to send peace; but a sword.
(Matt 10:35) For I [Jesus] have come to set a man against his father; and the daughter against her mother; and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
(Matt 10:36) And a man's foes shall be those of his own household.
(Matt 10:37) He who loves father or mother more than Me [Jesus] is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter; more than Me [Jesus] = is not worthy of Me.
(Matt 10:38) And he; who does not take up his cross; and follow Me [Jesus]; is not worthy of Me.
*** (Luke 14:26) If anyone comes to Me [Jesus]; and does not hate his father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes; and his own life also; he ‘cannot’ be My disciple.
(Luke 14:27) And whoever does not bear his cross; and come after Me [Jesus]; he ‘cannot’ be My disciple.
*** (John 8:29-to-32) And He [God]; Who sent Me [Jesus] is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone; for I [Jesus] always do: those things: which please Him [God].
(Joh 8:30) As He spoke these words; many believed upon Him.
(Joh 8:31) Then Jesus said to the Jews who believed on Him; If you continue in My Word; you are My disciples indeed.
(Joh 8:32) And you shall know the Truth; and the Truth shall make you free.
*** (John 15:9) As the Father [God] has loved Me [Jesus]; so I have loved you; continue in My love.
(Joh 15:10) If you keep My [Jesus] commandments; you shall abide in My love; even as I have kept My Father's [God] commandments; and abide in His love.
(Joh 15:11) I [Jesus] have spoken these things to you; so that My joy might remain in you; and your joy might be full.
(Joh 15:12) This is My commandment; that you love [Agape] one another; as I [Jesus] have loved you.
(Joh 15:13) No one has greater love than this; that a man lay down his life for his friends.
(Joh 15:14) You are My friends = IF = you ‘do’; whatever I [Jesus] command you.
*** (Luke 9:62) Jesus told him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow; and looks back; is fit for the kingdom of God.”
What would ‘You’ call that “Relationship”… that Christ Jesus had with His Father [God]…? “The Obedience of Love…! That ‘Commitment’… even to His Death on the Cross… for a ‘Lost & Rebellious’… mankind; was the Will of God…! If God blesses you with a mate… are the ‘He & She’… committed: to that kind of Relationship…? Total Dedication to the Will [Word] of God! That is the Only way a marriage can truly work…! That is a tough question. IF your relationship is based on Sexuality; Wealth; Social Prominence or for ‘ANY’ other reason… it probably would ‘Not Last!’ Suppose your mate has… ‘Cancer’ or is ‘Permanently’ injured… and cannot fulfill your physical, emotional or other needs…? Do you… “Divorce–Throw Away”… that Person/Mate…? Your commitment to another ‘Human’; your mate has to be based on a… “Life Long Wedding Vow to God”…! You or they… are no better humanly… than that Vow = “You Keep =or= Throw Away”…! “For Better or Worse… For Richer or Poorer… In Sickness or Health… Through All Circumstances… Keeping to You Alone… Till Death Do You Part!” IF you are not read; to live out those ‘Wedding Vows’… “Whatever the Cost”… You are ‘Not’ ready for Marriage…! LOVE is a… “Decision & Commitment”… and… “Not just Feelings!”
*** (1Corinthains 7:1-to-6) Now concerning the things you wrote about: It's good for a man not to touch [sexually fondle] a woman.
(1Co 7:2) But because sexual immorality is so rampant; every man should have his own wife; and every woman should have her own husband.
(1Co 7:3) A husband should fulfill his [sexual] obligation to his wife; and a wife should do the same for her husband.
(1Co 7:4) A wife does not have authority over her own body; but her husband does. In the same way; a husband doesn't have authority over his own body; but his wife does.
(1Co 7:5) Do not withhold yourselves from each other unless you agree to do so for a set time in order to devote yourselves to prayer. Then you should come together again; so that Satan does not tempt you through your lack of self-control.
(1Co 7:6) But I say this as a concession [v5]; not as a command.
