“Heaven & Hell -101” [1/?] Blog.

“Heaven & Hell -101” [1/?] Blog.

“IF” you believe in ‘Heaven’… “Then” you must believe in ‘Hell!’ Many seem not to realize that Hell is only a temporary place and not an eternal one. Actually the “Eternal Lake of Fire” is the end or all who reject God’s precious gift of Salvation, by the finished work of Christ Jesus. Before discussion Heaven, perhaps a look at Hell and what is was for and how it is used. This is an intense study, may I ask that you take your Bibles and follow along in the Scriptures.

*** (Matthew 24:35-36) The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but My Words shall not pass away.
(Matt 24:36) But of that day and hour no one knows, no, not the angels of Heaven, but only My Father.

*** (Romans 5:12) Therefore, even as through one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed on all men inasmuch as all sinned:

*** (Hebrews 9:27) And as it is  = appointed = to men once to die, but after this the judgment,

There is an ‘Unseen World’… to the human creation of God, which mankind is not privy to. Many do not realize this… but focus on the temporal world and all its trappings. But there are forces of ‘good & evil’ working which we cannot see with our human eyes. The Bible calls them, thrones, dominions, principalities and powers. It speaks about this ‘unseen world’ in several places so that we may understand. Remember you have an… “Appointment with Death!”

*** (Luke 24:15-16) And while they talked and reasoned, it happened that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them.
(Luke 24:16) But their eyes were held so that they ‘could not’ know Him.

*** (John 20:14-15) And when she had said this, she turned backward and saw Jesus standing, but she ‘did not know’ that it was Jesus.
(John 20:15) Jesus said to her, Woman, why do you weep? Whom do you seek? Supposing Him to be the gardener, she said to Him, Sir, if you have carried Him away from here, tell me where you have laid Him and I will take Him away.

*** (2Kings 6:15-19-17) And the servant of the man of God arose early and went out. And, behold, an army surrounded the city, and horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, Alas, my master! What shall we do?
(2Kin 6:16) And he answered, Do not fear, for those with us are more than those with them.
(2Kin 6:17) And Elisha prayed and said, I pray You, Jehovah, ‘open his eyes’ so that he may see. And Jehovah opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

Many times… those that are ‘Not Born Again’ by the Holy Spirit of God, are confused by the Bible. They are in spiritual darkness and cannot see or know the light of the Holy Word of God. The contradiction[s] is not in the Bible… but in the ‘hearts and minds’ of mankind. This fallen world, lost by rebellion and disobedience to God, is under then ‘limited control’ of Satan. God, the God of the Bible is calling out to all mankind… “To Repent [Acts 17:30-31]”…but rejected by most.

*** (Luke 4:6-7-8) And the Devil said to Him [Jesus], All this power I will give you, and the glory of them; for it has been ‘delivered’ to me. And I ‘give it’ to whomever I will.
(Luke 4:7) Therefore if you will worship me, all shall be yours.
(Luke 4:8) And Jesus answered and said to him, Get behind me, Satan! For it is written, "You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve."

*** (2Corinthians 4:3-4) So if our gospel is ‘veiled’, it is veiled to those who are dying.
(2Cor 4:4) In their case, the god of this world has ‘blinded the minds’ of those who do not believe to keep them from ‘seeing the light’ of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God.

*** (John 3:19-20-21) And this is the condemnation, that the Light has come into the world, and men ‘loved darkness’ rather than the Light, ‘because’ their deeds were evil.
(John 3:20) For everyone who does evil ‘hates’ the Light, and ‘does not’ come to the Light, ‘lest’ his deeds should be exposed.
(John 3:21) But he who practices ‘truth’ comes to the Light so that his works may be revealed, that they exist, having been worked in God.

When someone dies… their body returns to dust… but their Soul goes to ‘one’ of two places. For the ‘True Believer’ they go to be with Jesus. Their spirit is with Him, till the resurrection; but to those that have ‘rejected Him’… they go to a place of torment, called “Hell”. It is ‘Only by Choice’… that one goes there. It was not originally intended for mankind. But it is as it is, as it is written… in the Scriptures. The “Word Picture” of Hell is quite revealing in the Bible.

*** (2Corinthians 5:8) then we are confident and we are pleased rather to go away from home out of the body, = and to come home to the Lord.

*** (Acts 7:55-56) But being full of the Holy Spirit, looking up intently into Heaven, he saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.
(Acts 7:56) And he said, Behold, I see Heaven opened and the Son of Man standing on the right hand of God.

*** (Luke 16:19-to-31) There was a certain rich man who was customarily clothed in purple and fine linen and making merry in luxury every day.
(Luke 16:20) And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, who was laid at his gate, full of sores
(Luke 16:21) and desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table. But even the dogs came and licked his sores.
(Luke 16:22) And it happened that the beggar died and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom. The rich one also died and was buried.
(Luke 16:23) And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
(Luke 16:24) And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame.
(Luke 16:25) But Abraham said, Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things. But now he is comforted and you are tormented.
(Luke 16:26) And besides all this, there is a great chasm fixed between you and us; so that they desiring to pass from here to you cannot, nor can they pass over to us from there.
(Luke 16:27) And he said, I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house,
(Luke 16:28) for I have five brothers, so that he may testify to them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
(Luke 16:29) Abraham said to him, They have Moses and the Prophets, let them hear them.
(Luke 16:30) And he said, No, father Abraham, but if one should go to them from the dead, they would repent.
(Luke 16:31) And he said to him, If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded, even though one rose from the dead.

Christ Jesus told this “True Story”… it is ‘not’ a parable. Nowhere in the Bible will you find a parable… with a ‘Proper Names’ = “Abraham & Moses!” Bible parables go like this; ‘a certain man’ [22 references]; ‘a merchant’ [Matt 13:45]; a ‘sower’ [Luke 8:5] and the like. “None” of them mention a ‘Proper Name[s]!’ This ‘true story’ by Christ Jesus… gives us further insight into what happens when one dies. Within the ‘Old Testament’ economy by faith… “Believers”… before the resurrection of Christ… went to ‘Abraham’s bosom’… a place of rest. Sinners went to a place of torment.

*** (Matthew 27:50-to-53) Then Jesus cried out with a loud voice again and gave up his spirit.
(Matt 27:51) Suddenly the curtain in the sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom, the earth shook, the rocks were split open,
(Matt 27:52) the tombs were opened, = and the bodies = of many saints = who had died = were raised.
(Matt 27:53) After his resurrection, they came out of their tombs = and went into the Holy City and = appeared to ‘many’ people.

*** (Ephesians 4:8-9-10) That is why God says, "When he went up to the highest place he led captives into captivity and gave gifts to people."
(Eph 4:9) Now what does this "he went up" mean except that he also had gone down into the lower parts of the earth?
(Eph 4:10) The one who went down is the same one who went up above all the heavens so that he might fill everything.

*** (Isaiah 5:14) So hell has enlarged itself, and opened its mouth without measure; and their glory, and their multitude, and their pride, and he who rejoices in her, shall go down into it.

*** (Mark 9:43-44) And if your hand offends you, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed than to have two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched
(Mark 9:44-46-46[3X]) where their worm dies ‘not’, and the fire is ‘not’ quenched. [3X]

After the resurrection… of the Christ Jesus and His presentation before the Father… John 20:17… the spirits of the OT Saints… are now with Jesus in heaven. His resurrection showed His power over ‘Death & Hell’. The NT saints… when they have died… their spirits go to be with Jesus and their bodies along with the bodies if the “Unjust”… have returned to the earth. Waiting for the Resurrection of the “Just & the Unjust”… who will receive the results of their ‘works’ and ‘rejection’ of Christ Jesus, Lord of Lords, King of Kings!

*** (Hebrews 10:28-to-31) He who despised Moses' Law died without mercy on the word of two or three witnesses.
(Heb 10:29) Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy of punishment, the one who has trampled the Son of God, and who has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?
(Heb 10:30) For we know Him who has said, "Vengeance belongs to Me, I will repay, says the Lord." And again, "The Lord shall judge His people."
(Heb 10:31) It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

*** (1Peter 4:17-18-19) For the time has come for the judgment to begin from the house of God. And if it first begins from us, what will be the end of those disobeying the gospel of God?
(1Pet 4:18) And if the righteous one is scarcely saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
(1Pet 4:19) Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls in well-doing, as to a faithful Creator.

*** (Psalms 138:2) I will worship = toward Your holy temple, = and = praise Your Name = for Your loving-kindness = and = for “Your Truth's” sake; = for You [God] = have magnified = = = “Your Word” = = = ‘Above All’ = Your Name. = [Psalms 119:18 & 1Samuel 3:21 & Deuteronomy 29:29]

"NO”… Real Christian... ‘Fears’, = The Truth = of the Word of God... “Unless”… ‘they are’… Out of … “Obedience & Fellowship” …with ‘GOD’… and with “His Word”...!"

(Micah 2:7) House of Jacob, it is said, The Spirit of Jehovah is limited, if these are His doings. = Do not = My Words = do good to him = who walks uprightly?
