“SIN… & Your ‘MIND’ – 101”…Blog.
*** (James 1:13-to-16) Let no one being tempted say; I am tempted from God. For God does not tempted by evils; and He tempts no one.
(Jas 1:14) But each one is tempted – by his [0wj] lusts; being drawn away and ‘seduced’ by them.
(Jas 1:15) Then when lust has conceived; it brings forth sin. And sin; when it is fully formed; brings forth death.
(Jas 1:16) Do not err; my beloved brothers.
*** (1John 5:19) And we know that we are of God; and the whole world lies in wickedness.
Are you ever ‘Tempted’… by SIN/SINS…? When you watch that TV or Video… that shows Adultery or Out of Marriage Sexual Situation… that is ‘SIN!’ For those that are Truly Born Again… by God’s Holy Spirit… this battle is often in the ‘Mind!’ We may not physically do those things… but we will entertain them in our ‘Minds!’ This morning I went to the Flea Market… and saw a DVD: ‘Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’ edition! And it was only a… “$1.” Immediately I was faced with the Choice… “Obey Christ” and the “Scriptures”… “OR”… Obey the Flesh! Needless to say… I obeyed Christ! Being Tempted… is not SIN/Sins… but How we Respond to the Temptation… determines the SIN/SINS. Did you know that… “SIN is the Root”… “SINS are the Fruit”…? How we respond to those Temptations we are all exposed to… will simply show us… Who we ‘Really Love’… Either: Christ Jesus… or… Ourselves!
*** (1Corinthains 6:18-19-20) Keep on running away from sexual immorality. Any other sin that a person commits is outside his body; but the person who sins sexually; – sins against his own body.
(1Cor 6:19) You know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit; Who is in you; Whom you have received from God, don't you? You ‘do not’ belong to yourselves,
(1Cor 6:20) because you were bought for a price. Therefore, glorify God with your bodies.
*** (Romans 6:16) Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves; you are slaves of the one you obey – either of sin; which leads to death; or of obedience; which leads to righteousness?
*** (Romans 8:5-to-9) For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
(Rom 8:6) To set our minds on the flesh leads to death, but to set our minds on the Spirit leads to life and peace.
(Rom 8:7) That is why the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile toward God. For it ‘refuses to submit’ - to the authority of God's law; because it is powerless to do so.
(Rom 8:8) Indeed; those who are under the control of the flesh; cannot please God.
(Rom 8:9) You, however, are not of the flesh; but under the control of the Spirit, since God's Spirit lives in you. And if anyone ‘does not’ have the Spirit of Christ; he does not belong to Him [Jesus].

What is the Cost… of ‘Your’ SIN/SINS…? Not only Yours; but ‘Mine’ and ‘Everyone’s’…? It was the Death of Christ Jesus on the Cross…! OUR SINS… Nailed Him to that Cross… but His Love for US… Kept Him There…! When we view our SIN/SINS… with the Cost to Him; we are not so likely to… Take SIN/SINS… so lightly! “Nothing is FREE”… everything cost someone… something! “Christ’s Finished Work of Redemption”… does set us Free… from both the “Power & Penalty” of SIN/SINS…! But even though we can be “Forgiven in Christ”… ‘John 7:38-39’… only on His terms… we may still: “Choose to Sin”… Or “Not!” Surely ‘You’ know that God Spanks… His Real Children… ‘Don’t You?’ Do You really want to be Spanked by God… for disobeying His Holy Word… and serving Our Own Flesh…?
*** (1Corinthans 11:30) That's why so many of you are Weak; and Sick’ and a considerable number are Dying.
*** (John 15:1-2-3) I [Jesus] am the true vine; and My Father [God] is the vinegrower.
(John 15:2) He ‘removes’ every branch in Me; that ‘does not’ produce fruit; and He ‘cleanses’ every branch that does produce fruit; so that it might produce ‘more’ fruit.
(John 15:3) You are already clean because of the Word; that I have spoken to you.
*** (2Corinthians 4:16) That's why we are not discouraged. No, even if our ‘outer man’ is wearing out; our ‘inner man’ is being; renewed day by day.
*** (Hebrews 12:5) You have forgotten the encouragement that is addressed to you as sons: “My son, do not think lightly of the Lord's discipline; or give up when you are corrected by Him.
(Heb 12:6) For the Lord ‘disciplines’ the one He loves; and He ‘punishes’ every son He accepts.”
(Heb 12:7) What you endure; is for the sake of ‘discipline’ [training]. God is ‘treating’ you as sons. Is there a son whom his father does not discipline? [No!]
(Heb 12:8) Now if you are ‘without’ any discipline; in which all [say they are] sons share; then you are ‘illegitimate’ [bastards]; and ‘not’ His sons.
(Heb 12:9) Furthermore, we had earthly fathers who used to discipline us; and we respected them for it. We should even more ‘submit’ to; the Father of our spirits and live, shouldn't we?

Many speak about ‘Loving JESUS’… and yet show ‘No Love’ for Him and for His Holy Word! They somehow think that… Knowing About Him… is the same as Personally knowing Him; through His Holy Word…! Do You know what Christ Jesus said about this…? Did He say… ‘Few’… ‘Some’… or ‘Many’… in “Matthew 7:21-22-23”…? Are You willing to put yourself to the TEST…?
*** (Matthew 7:21-22-23) Not everyone who says to Me, Lord! Lord! shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven.
(Matt 7:22) MANY = will say to Me in that day, Lord! Lord! Did we not prophesy in Your name, and through Your name throw out demons, and through Your name do many wonderful works?
(Matt 7:23) And then I will say to them I never knew you! Depart from Me; those working lawlessness!
*** (2Corinthains 13:5) examine yourselves, whether you are in the faith; prove your own selves. Do you not know your own selves; that Jesus Christ is in you [Romans 8:9]; unless you are reprobates?
