Moved…?
“Hosea” & “NO Divorce”…?
Have “You” read the OT book of Hosea? IF ever a man had
justification for Divorce: he Hosea did! But like God, his heart mirrored the “Reconciliation”
that God has for Mankind. ‘We’, without being worthy: God has provided “Christ
Jesus: ‘Finished work of Redemption”: to pay for our: “SIN/SINS!” Yes for ‘ALL’
time and eternity! Please take some time and read, “Hosea?”
And
“You” thought “You” had “Justification” for Divorce…? …“NOT!”
*** (Hosea 1:1-to-11) The Word of The
LORD that came to Hosea,
the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeremiah the
son of Joash, king of Israel.
(Hosea 1:2) The
beginning of The LORD speaking by Hosea. And The LORD said to Hosea, Go, take
to you a wife of adultery and children of adultery. For the land has utterly
gone AWAY: from The LORD.
(Hosea 1:3) So
he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim, who conceived and bore him a
son.
(Hosea 1:4)
And The LORD said to him, Call his name God Will Sow. For still in a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezraeel on the house of
Jehu, and will cause the kingdom of the house of Israel to cease.
(Hosea 1:5)
And it shall be, at that day I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezraeel.
(Hosea 1:6)
And she conceived again and bore a daughter. And God said to him, Call her name No-mercy, for I will no more have
mercy on the house of Israel.
But I will utterly take them away.
(Hosea 1:7)
But I will have mercy on the house of Judah, and will save them by The LORD
their God, and will not save them by bow; nor by sword; nor by battle; by
horses, nor by horsemen.
(Hosea 1:8) And
when she had weaned No-mercy she conceived and bore a son.
(Hosea 1:9) And
He said, Call his name Not-my-people. For “You” are not My people, and I will not be for ‘‘You’’.
(Hosea 1:10)
Yet the number of the sons of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which
cannot be measured nor numbered. And it shall be, in the place where it was
said to them, “You” are not My
people [Gentiles], there it shall be said to them, “You” are the sons of the living God. [2Chronicles 6:32-33]
(Hosea 1:11) Then
the sons of Judah and the sons of Israel shall be gathered together, and shall
set over themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land. For great
shall be the day of Jezraeel.
After he had taken Gomer as… his wife; she bore him three [3]
Children! She eventually left him and went back into “Prostitution” and finally
became a “Slave!” He went and bought her back. Do “You” have a mate that has
done “Such Things” unto “You”…?
How bad do “You” have to SIN… until God leaves off from caring for “You”…?
[Hebrews 13:5] His heart is always open: to the “Repentant Sinner”. The problem
is WE ‘ALWAYS’ WANT: “Instantaneous: Fixes & Solutions!” We purposely
forget how the Scriptures speak about the “Sufferings of the Righteous!” [1Peter
4:1-2] And how Christ Jesus: called us to Suffering. [Colossians 1:24]
*** (Hosea
3:2-3) So I [Hosea] bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver [15], and for a homer of barley and a half homer of barley [1.5].
(Hosea 3:3) And I said to her, “You” shall abide for me many days. “You”
shall not be a harlot, nor be for a man. And I also will be for ‘‘You’’.
We may miss the opportunity to… “Pray for Repentance”: for our fallen
spouse. We forget about the “Longsuffering of God”: that finally led “US” to: ‘Repentance!’
How long did GOD: wait for “You’’: to be Born Again by His Holy Spirit? I did
not come to Christ Jesus till my “30’s!” Many, who say they are Christians;
only have “American Christianity” and “American Religion”. Most have NOT: Truly
been, Born Again by His “Love & Mercy & Grace!”
Most do
“Not LOVE”… His Holy Word! Anyone can say they Love God! Many say they Do:
but remember the “Many” that Christ Jesus spoke about in “Matthew 7:21-22-23?”
Do “You’’ call yourself a “Christian?” And then, hardly if Ever: “Read”, “Study”
and “Obey” His Holy Word”: “Daily”…? [2Corinthians 4:16 & John 15:1-2-3]
*** (2Peter
3:9) The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some people understand
slowness, but is being patient with ‘‘You’’. He does “Not”: want ‘Anyone’ to
perish; but wants everyone to come to Repentance.
[Luke 13:1-to-5]
*** (2Timothy 2:24) A
servant of the Lord must not argue. Instead, he must be kind to everyone,
teachable, Willing To Suffer Wrong,
(2Tim 2:25)
and gentle in refuting his opponents. After all, maybe God will allow
them to Repent and to come to a ‘Full’ knowledge of the Truth, [Isaiah
58:4-to-12]
(2Tim 2:26)
so that they might escape from the devil's snare, even though they've been held
captive by him; to do his will. [John 8:44 & 1Jn 5:19]
*** (1Peter
4:12-to-18) Dear friends, do not be surprised by the fiery ordeal that is
taking place among “You” to test ‘‘You’’, as though something strange were
happening to ‘‘You’’.
(1Pet 4:13) Instead,
because “You” are
participating in the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that “You” may
be glad and shout for joy when His glory is revealed.
(1Pet 4:14) If “You” are insulted because of the name of Christ, “You”
are blessed, for the glorious [Holy] Spirit of God is resting on ‘‘You’’.
(1Pet 4:15) Of course, none of “You” should suffer for being a murderer,
thief, criminal, or troublemaker.
(1Pet 4:16) But
if “You” suffer for being a Christian, do not feel ashamed, but glorify God
with that name.
(1Pet 4:17) For the time has come for judgment to begin with the
household of God. And if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those
who refuse to obey the gospel of God?
(1Pet 4:18) "If it is hard for the righteous person to be saved,
what will happen to the ungodly and sinful person?"
(1Pet 4:19) So then, those who suffer
according to God's will should entrust their souls to a faithful Creator and
continue to do what is good. [Genesis 18:25]
*** (Hosea
2:5-6-7) For their mother has prostituted herself. She who conceived them has done shamefully. For
she said, I will go after my lovers who give my bread and my water, my wool and
my flax, my oil and my drink.
(Hosea 2:6) Therefore behold, I will hedge your way with thorns, and
wall up her wall, that she shall not find her paths.
(Hosea 2:7) And she shall follow after her lovers, but she shall not
overtake them. She shall seek them, but shall not find them. Then she shall say, I will go and return to my first
husband, for then it was better
with me than now.
*** (Hosea

4:7-to-18) But we have this treasure in clay jars to show that its extraordinary
[Holy Spirit] power comes from God and not from us.
(2Cor 4:8) In every way we're Troubled but NOT crushed; Frustrated but
NOT in despair,
(2Cor 4:9) Persecuted but NOT abandoned, Struck Down but NOT
destroyed.
(2Cor 4:10) We are always carrying around the death of Jesus in our
bodies; so that the life of Jesus may be “Clearly Shown” in our bodies.
(2Cor 4:11) While we are alive, we are constantly being handed over to
death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus may be “Clearly Shown” in our
dying bodies.
(2Cor 4:12) And so death is at work in us, but life is at work in ‘‘You’’.
(2Cor 4:13) Now since we have
the same spirit of faith in keeping with what is written-"I believed, and
so I spoke"-we also believe, and so we speak.
(2Cor 4:14) We know that the One [Acts 13:34-to-39]; Who raised the
Lord Jesus will also raise us with Jesus and present us to God together with ‘‘You’’.
(2Cor 4:15) All this is for sake so that, as His grace spreads, it
will increase the thanksgiving of more and more people to the glory of God.
(2Cor 4:16) That's why we are NOT discouraged. No, even if our outer
man is wearing out, our inner man is being renewed day by day.
(2Cor 4:17) This light, temporary nature of our suffering is producing
for us an eternal weight of glory, far beyond any comparison,
(2Cor 4:18) because we do not look for things that can be seen but for
things that cannot be seen. For things that can be seen are temporary, but
things that cannot be seen are eternal.
*** (2Corinthains
13:5) examine yourselves; whether “You” are in the faith, prove yourselves
own selves. Do “You” not know your own selves; that Jesus Christ is in ‘‘You’’,
unless “You” are reprobates?
Do “You” have
the “Same Love”… for your Sinning Mate: that God has for ‘Sinner’…?
Or are “You’’ just missing the convenience of: “Sex”; “Companionship”; “Meals”,
“Laundry Service”: Etc.? And the ‘blessings’ of a good Marriage…?
Many single wish to be ‘Married!’ But still “MORE”,
who are Married: Wish they were “Single Again!”
If they
didn’t… there would “NOT: be so very ‘MANY’ Divorces!” Especially among those
who call themselves: “Christian?” May I please ask ‘‘You’’, “Read the book of
Hosea, and see How God truly cares for those who are HIS…? Do “You” care for your Mate; “As God cares
for ‘‘You”…? And the One:
whom “You” are Divorcing…?
