This is a continuing… discussion of the original post. Here are some of the many responses that were posted. Those of the CC will do all they can… Even Deny History… in order to protect their religion. What the CC teaches and what the Bible teaches is as different as… ‘night & day’. Perhaps some thoughts? In the original post… some Bible verses and justification of statements; were posted. None of the responses… ‘Dealt Directly’… with those Bible verses except to try and… “Negate the Complete Authority of the Holy Word of God!”

This is where… those that have the CC Religion want to remain ‘ignorant’ [un-informed] of the Scriptures. They instead take the teaching of the CC… over what the Bible says. Once again the issue… “Believe God and His Holy Word”… =OR= …“Believe what the CC teaches?” Were there in fact… Scriptures… available for Believers to see…? What do… the Scriptures say…?

It is plain to see… that the OT Scriptures were in use to Validate… the Preaching & Teaching… of the early church. How about the Epistles and Gospels written before the founding of any organized Church. Do the Scriptures speak about these… that the early church used to Validate what they have been taught by the Apostles…?

Once again… Who do you believe… “God’s Word” or what the “CC” teaches you…? Martin Luther nailed his 93 Thesis to the door of Wittenberg Castle. He and other thought the ages… have taken the Scriptures and ‘refuted’ Catholic teaching. Need I speak of the ‘many martyrs’ who were ‘Executed’ by the CC… for speaking the Scriptures. Even “Galileo”… was put on house arrest for his scientific studies. “Jan Hus”… who was first to translate the Scriptures into English; so that the common man could understand them… was burned at the Stake! The Scriptures speak of such False Teaching as the Catholics…!

Obviously, to the “Honest Researcher”… the Truth is evident. Once again there is “NO” Specific Church or Denomination… that Christ Jesus endorsed. His body of True Believers… are Born Again… by His Holy Spirit. Simply remember… “Denominations = are Man Made”… “NOT God Made!” Ruled by men… ‘without submitting’… to the Authority of God and His Holy Word! Those that defend the CC… as I did when I was a ‘Spiritually Blind Catholic’… will always fight to protect that Lie…!

“ONLY”… and again the Scriptures Say… “ONLY”… when one is Born Again, Born from above by “God’s Holy Spirit”… can they ‘Then’… begin to understand the Scriptures! Before that, the Scriptures are… “FOOLISHNESS”… to them. That person is blinded by Satan and they don’t even realize it. ‘Religion’ always does that, making the person wrongly think that they can… earn favor with God… by keeping the teachings of their Church! Say it isn’t SO…? Jesus paid it ALL! That is why Salvation is the “Gift of God”… ‘Not of Works’… so that “No ONE”… can ‘Brag’ what they did… For GOD!

About now… you are probably overwhelmed. If you are willing to believe God and His Holy “Word”… all you have to do is… “Ask HIM”… if this is ‘True’…? Without considering your religion… will you simply… “ASK GOD”…?

Simple Prayer…


Father God, I have had religion all my life and believed that it was true. I am in doubt about religion and about the Truth of your Word. I am now… willing to trust You and Your Word! I am a helpless sinner and am trusting… ‘The best I know how’… that Jesus died and rose again for my justification and salvation. Show me ‘Your Truth’… I ask this in Jesus Name and for Your Glory, Amen & Amen…!

Hello Friend, [name withheld]… Thank you for being open to a discussion such as this one. First, please allow me to share some things that are necessary for this discussion. My point of reference will be The Bible, The Word of God. And yes, I know that your Bible has some books that mine does not have. Never the less… for our discussion… I will use the Bible as my point of reference. Remember, ‘Denominations’… are manmade. Christ Jesus did not Validate any of these…!

There are many things… that the Catholic Church says, that are “NOT” in the Word of God. Matter of fact, in the front of the Catholic Bible there is a… ‘Caveat Disclaimer’. It simply states that the ‘Catholic Church’ is the “Final Authority” on all ‘Spiritual Matters!’ In other words, they say that they ‘are’… and ‘not’ the Word of God… as the final authority. Many miss that and it simply ‘contradicts’… the very words of Christ Jesus in the above Bible verses.

As a former Catholic… I too prayed to Mary and wrongly believed that she as Jesus mother had some special standing with God. And the Saints too… could help me with God. That is ‘wrong’, according to the above Bible verses. Mary is ‘not now’… a Virgin… as Jesus had four bothers and at least two sisters. Why then call her the “Virgin Mary?” Your Popes are not married, yet they falsely claim that Peter was the first pope… and he was married…! Don’t most Catholics have to say… Hail Marries and Our Fathers… after confession as Penance…?

The CC also teaches… that one cannot go to heaven unless he or she is baptized in the CC! The above blog uses the Bible and demonstrates that Salvation is by God’s Grace alone… and not of any human works. But there are also things that the CC teaches that are also True. Yes, Abortion… is murder of the Innocent Babies. But on the other side… the CC has allowed Priests and Bishops that are… “Child Molesters”… to escape the justice of the Law. They were simply just transferred to another parish. How many should be ‘Allowed’…? Absolutely… “NONE!”

About now… you probably find yourself; overwhelmed with this information. Take some time and work through each concept and idea you have been taught and then choose either… “The Bible” … or the Catholic Church…? When I was Born Again by the Holy Spirit… I had to do a lot of… “Unlearning”… of those things I was taught. It did not come ‘easy’… but my mind and heart… decided to… Believe God’s Holy Word… at any cost! Oh yes, “Forgiveness”… does not come from… “The Priest and the Confessional”… but directly from God and His Holy Word.

One thing as a Catholic… who kept the Holy Days of Obligation, went to Mass, served as an Alter boy, went to Confession and said Penance… “I never really knew – IF”… I was truly forgiven of IF I… really had any ‘real assurance’ of Sins forgiven and the Promise of Heaven! Somehow I never knew… IF I… did enough to please God and IF I… was really His child.

Many times… someone will say… “Wasn’t That A Blessing!” Surely you have ‘heard’ that before. What about the people; that over extended ‘themselves’ and ‘purchased’ a house… they could ‘not’ possibly afford. “Look at the house the Lord blessed us with!” Then some time later, after defaulting on the mortgage… they are now in ‘Foreclosure?’ Did in fact… The Lord bless them, or was it Satan…?

Here in America… many wrongly give credit to the ‘Wrong Person!’ When something comes to pass… they wrongly call it ‘Good!’ Does being in “Un-Repayable Debt”… sound like it is from God? Old Testament Israel was given the “Covenant of the Law”; with the promises of ‘Blessing for Obedience’ and ‘Cursing for Disobedience’. Many in the Church have taken the… “Provisional Promises of Israel”… and ‘Wrongly’… equated them to the NT Church.

Remember two easy lessons… “What you Own… Owns You!” … and … “Less is More!” Perhaps you have been looking for an out… because of the ‘Emotional and Mental’ strain… some purchase has taken on your “Soul”…?

Did you ever think… any of your purchase = “Through / Thoroughly?” Sure it takes some effort, time and planning. But it is well worth the peace of mind. God, the God of the Bible never intended His children… to be held captive with and by… ‘Their Possessions!’ He never intended them to have that… “I need it Now”… philosophy that is so prevalent in every facet of our life experiences. Surely you have see the World’s Philosophy… “He that dies with the most toys… Wins!” That is not for the Real Child of God!

*** (Matthew 6:19-20-21) Do not lay up treasures on earth for yourselves, where moth and rust corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal.

The very next time… you are going to make a purchase; “Simply Ask Yourselves”… do I really ‘need’ this… or is this a ‘want?’ In my closet are some shirts and pants that are 20-years old. Now in the vernacular they are referred to as… ‘Retro!’ But they are perfectly good. Style is something made up by those that want to continue to sell clothing. Simply watch that movie, ‘The devil wears Prada.’ It will help you understand the vanity of the clothing we wear.

So where do I go… from here? Surely one thing is true… “Expenses always rise to meet income!” “The more we have… the more we spend”. What are the “True Riches”… that Jesus spoke about in the above scripture verses? May I suggest those “True Riches” are simply… “The Knowledge of God, through His Holy Word, The Bible = and = Your Obedience to Him”…?

“Jehovah”, the God of the Bible… ‘Spanks’… “His Real Children ‘with’ Chastening!” Many who are living in Sin, and claim to be God’s children… “And Are ‘NOT’ Spanked”… are “NOT” really His children! Did no one tell them about… ‘The Reconciliation by the Word’… “2Corinthians 5:18-to-21?”

Who do you think is wrong, them or the Bible? Perhaps an ‘understanding’ about… judging current sin practices… and ‘final eternal judgment’… is the problem? Yes…?

Ok, so I believe… the Scriptures, where do I go from here and how do I practice this? Do I become the… ‘God Police’ -&- ‘Fruit Inspector?’ …“Absolutely Not!” One must allow the Holy Spirit to lead them and have that persons ‘best interest’ at heart! Is their practice of sin… affecting the body of Christ? Also one must be sure there is no… ‘un-confessed’… &… ‘un-repented’… sin in their ‘own’ lives. Then again we must be… ‘led’ of the Lord… to do so!

Do you Love “JESUS”…? Do you ‘know’ Jesus? Is He ‘your’ Savior? Is He ‘your’ Lord [Boss]? There are ‘many’ that say they are Christians here in America. But if that is so… why is our country on the ‘downslide to perdition?’ Who then is this ‘JESUS’… that many say they ‘Know?’ If He truly is God and the Savior of all mankind… why do so very many reject His Holy Word… The Bible?

About now… you can readily see that “The Word”… is simply Jesus the Christ [Messiah]! Yes, each and every time you see the Word = “Christ”… you will realize that He Jesus… is the fulfilled promise of God, The God of the Bible… “Who ‘cannot’ Lie!” The incarnation of the Word, is simply Jesus Christ. There are ‘many’ that say they… Love Jesus… and yet; “Do NOT Know”… His Holy Word – The Bible! How is that possible? If you truly know someone, you know… ‘What’ they say…?

What is ‘Ignorance’…? It is ‘not’ a bad word, it ‘simply’ means = “Un-Informed!” We are all born ‘ignorant’ and within less than two years, learn and communicate in a foreign language. As adults, some ‘choose’ to learn and then some ‘refuse’ to learn. This is not only dependant of your teachers, parents and society. But it is ‘more’ dependent on… “You!” Simply because of your ‘free will’ and the ‘consequences’ – you choose; you either ‘learn’ or ‘remain’… “Stupid!” Yes ‘stupid’ is a bad word… as it means… “A Refusal to Learn!” It has nothing to do with intelligence or mental abilities. It reflects your ‘choice’ of will or ‘will not!’ “Ignorance can be fixed… Stupid is Forever!” Yes… “Stupid Is… as Stupid Does!”

What is said here in these blogs… ‘This is not; ‘to accuse’ nor ‘to excuse!’ It is said for you to have a “Self Check?” Just perhaps you have said you are a Christian for some years. May I ask you a personal question? Have you ever led someone to… “Faith in Christ?” Please answer to yourself and not to me.

Again, simply asking…? “How well do you know… the Word of God?” How else does anyone get to know ‘God’ and the “Mind & Heart of God?” Without knowing His Word… you cannot possible grow ‘spiritually’ and into ‘the maturity’… that He desires for you! “IF”… you love Jesus… “THEN”… you will love His Word. Do you ‘know’ these… Bible verses? Did you ‘understand’… that when Christ Jesus spoke about not worrying about “Tomorrow”… He also meant… Not to worry about “The Past?” Your life goes on with or without us. To allow the ‘Future’ to worry you… is also… to allow the ‘Past’ to cripple you! Can your past mistakes and failures… ruin your Future? “Yes and No”… but “Only IF”… you allow them to. Learning from past mistakes… will help your present and future.

*** (1Corinthians 6:9-10-11) Do you not know = that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? = Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor abusers, nor homosexuals,

When ‘each’ of us… came to Christ Jesus for His Salvation; we were already… “Damaged Goods!” Sin the root and Sins the fruit… had already wreaked havoc in our lives. Remember there is absolutely… “NO Goodness”… in us or in ‘anyone’. Since we are all born ‘sinners’ and have acted out of our nature… we then ‘all’ need a Savior. He, “Christ Jesus” came to set us free from… not only the ‘Penalty’ of “Sin/Sins”… but from the ‘Power’ of “Sin/Sins”.

*** (Romans 5:8-9-10) But God commends His love toward us = in that while we were yet sinners = Christ died for us.
(Rom 5:9) Much more then, = being now justified by His blood, = we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
(Rom 5:10) For if = when we were enemies, = we were reconciled to God = through the death of His Son, = much more, = being reconciled, = we shall be saved = by His life [in us see Romans 8:9].

*** (Colossians 1:27) For to them God = would make known = what are the riches of the glory = of this mystery among the nations, = which is = Christ in you, = the hope of glory, [Romans 8:9]

To redirect our ‘Focus’… we must not only ‘read’ these verses; but ‘believe’ them and ‘make’ them a part of our ‘continual’ thinking! Daily and moment by moment… our minds have to focus on what Christ has done for us! We chose mentally… “Not To Allow”… our past or the present; to move us into ‘any’ confusion. Even with all the unbelief from the Jews and the Religious… do you think that Christ ever allowed Himself… to be swayed by the past, present or futrue? “Absolutely – NOT!”

Have you ever forgotten… to take out the ‘Garbage?’ If you know what I mean, it got real ‘stinky’ real fast. So too it is with our ‘Thinking!’ We cannot allow our past failures and mistake to harm our ‘present’ thinking! In the same way… we cannot allow our past failures and mistakes to harm our ‘future’ thinking. Our thinking is a lot like… ‘Money!’ Except… that there are ‘no returns’ and ‘no refunds’. There is absolutely nothing you can do about ‘Spilt Milk!’ Once it is spilt, it cannot be consumed. So it is with our past decisions.

*** (John 15:3) Now you are clean = through the Word = which I [Jesus] have spoken to you.

*** (Ephesians 5:26-27) that He [Jesus] = might sanctify and cleanse it = with the washing of water = by the Word,
(Eph 5:27) that He might present it to Himself = as the glorious church, = without spot or wrinkle = or any such things, = but that it should be = holy and without blemish.

*** (John 17:17) Sanctify them = through Your Truth. = Your Word = is Truth.

*** (Romans 10:17) So then = faith comes by hearing, = and hearing = by the Word of God.

The Body of Christ… ‘His Church’ – “You” … is made clean with “His Holy Word”. It is solely ‘Your Responsibility’… to know and learn… His Word, the Bible. God ‘will not’ perform any miracle for you… to have you ‘instantly’ know His Word. That is your ‘responsibility’. The More of the Word you know and understand… the more faith you will have. Also the less ‘Things’… will affect you, because your focus is on His Word! You will ‘focus’ on what He says in His Word… about all thinks that pertain to life and godliness!

*** (1Peter 2:1-2-3) Therefore laying aside = all malice = and all guile = and hypocrisies = and envyings, = and all evil speakings,
(1Pet 2:2) Desire = the sincere milk of the Word, = as newborn babies, = so that you = may grow by it;
(1Pet 2:3) if truly = you have tasted = that the Lord is gracious.

*** (2Timothy 2:15-16) Study earnestly = to present yourself = approved to God, = a workman that does not need = to be ashamed, = rightly dividing = the Word of Truth.
(2Tim 2:16) But shun profane, = vain babblings, = for they will increase to more ungodliness.

“Stink-in Think-in”… will rule your life… Only ‘IF’;… you allow it! You need to ‘replace’ your ‘thoughts’ and your ‘reasoning’… with that of the Word of God! That way your ‘emotions’ will follow your thoughts… and “Not Lead Them!” Constantly ‘ask’ yourself… what does the Word… say about this or that? No, it will not come overnight. Oak trees take a long time to mature. Mushrooms grow up overnight. Which would you live to have a furniture made of… ‘oak or mushrooms?’

*** (Luke 4:4) And Jesus answered him, saying, = It is written that = "man shall not live by bread alone, = but by every = Word of God."

*** (Ephesians 6:16-17-18) Above all, = take the shield of faith, = with which = you shall be able to quench = all the fiery darts of the wicked. [Stink-in Think-in]
(Eph 6:17) And take the helmet of salvation, = and the sword of the Spirit, = which is = the Word of God,
(Eph 6:18) praying always = with all prayer and supplication = in the Spirit, = and watching to this very thing = with all perseverance = and supplication for all saints.

*** (2Corinthians 4:16) For this cause = we do not faint; = but though our outward man perishes, = yet the inward man = is being renewed = day by day.

*** (Psalms 119:11) I have hidden = Your Word = in my heart, = so that I = might not sin = against You [Lord].

Take ‘Some Responsibility’… for your 'own' spiritual growth. You ‘must’ apply yourself to your own personal study of His Word. He – Jesus… will not force you! You must do it on your own… but with His Help! The same way you get physically hungry… you should be ‘Spiritually’ hungry. The more of the Word you know and study the more you should want to know. If you ‘Truly’… Love JESUS… you too should ‘Truly… “Love His Word!” Make His ‘Word’ a priority in your life… Today! This choice is… “All Yours!”

*** (2Chronicles 12:14) And he did evil, because he = prepared not = his heart to seek the LORD.

*** (Ezra 7:10) For Ezra = had prepared = his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.
