Recently while on a Bible discussion site… there arose a discussion about a post. The writer ‘claimed’ a story from God to her. The bottom line of the story was to seek the Scriptures and what they Say? Perhaps, may I ask you… ‘Is it alright and valid’… to mix made up stories with the Bible to get the Gospel… across to unbelievers? Many do not know what the Scriptures say and thus are carried away by ‘God Stories?’ “Absolutely Not!” …“The Bible Plus + Nothing…!”

A Muslim… told me about Jesus, the Jesus of the Quran. I told him this very important fact… to clear the discussion table. The Problem for the Muslim… and those of Islam, has historically been the Apostate Catholic Church. Those of Islam… “Wrongly Believe”… that the “Catholics are True Christians”. The Crusades’ and the Killing of the Muslims in the past… has left a bitter reminder to those of Islam. Consequently they hold… “All Christians Responsible”… whether they are “True -or- False” Christians! Any religion has ‘True and False’ members… including Islam. Many tow the Religious Line… to gain Social and Political Acceptance in any nation and in any religion.

There are ‘Other’ Pseudo Christians… that speak about Jesus. They speak about another Jesus and ‘not’ the one of the Scriptures. So what does that do to the Gospel… the Good News/ the Bad News… and its clear presentation? It ‘muddies’ the issue of the Messiah and the clear thinking of the Word. Satan, the Father of Lies… John 8:44… does not care how…the Truth is muddled; just that it is! If you are a Mormon and I speak to you of ‘Jesus’… you would have been taught, that Lucifer is Jesus’ brother! This is NOT… the Jesus of the Bible!

Many today... ‘Do Not’… study the Scriptures! They have that ‘Rodney King Attitude’… “Can’t we all… just get along?” Sorry NO! Do you think that God, the God of the Bible just accepts any belief in “Jesus:… no matter where it comes from??? Remember… we may all use the same “NOUN”… but we ‘Do NOT’… all use the “Same Dictionary = The Bible!” Many simply believe what they are told in Church… and never question anything!

What will you substitute for “Truth”…? That seems a pretty easy answer for anyone. But ‘many’ simply will not check it out for themselves. Say it isn’t so? Have you seen the Vehicle adds on TV? They advertize… 33-mpg highway… when by Law… that disclosure is really = “Estimated – with the caveat = your mileage may be lower!” But they Never advertize that caveat; do they? Even notice how small the print is… in your Credit Card Agreement? IF you did not read and understand it… you are in for a Shock!

The Bible ‘always’ gives You… “Full Disclosure!” There are ‘many’ that will not take the time to be sure of their Eternal Salvation or their Eternal Damnation. There are… “No Second Chances”… and God… “Does Not = Grade on the Curve!” His Truth… found in His Holy Word… is “Absolute!” But He will not reveal Himself and His Truth… to those that will not, “Obey IT!” Since ‘Obedience’ is not an option… God has given us… His Holy Spirit… indwelling the True Believer… to live and obey His Holy Word! Simple isn’t it…?
*** (2Timothy 3:15-16-17) and that from a babe you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
(2Ti 3:16) All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
(2Ti 3:17) that the man of God may be perfected, thoroughly furnished to every good work.
*** (Hebrews 4:12-13) For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul and spirit, joints and marrow, as it judges the thoughts and purposes of the heart.
(Heb 4:13) No creature can hide from him, but all are naked and helpless before the eyes of the one to whom we must give a word of explanation.
…“The Bible Plus + Nothing…!” Yes, even those Children Bible Stories that you can see in any doctors office, are Wrong! They do not have ‘Only the Scriptures’… but often times “Embellish” their stories. Read the above verses and ask yourself… “Does God need any help with His Word & Truth”… or need it be simplified and diluted? Absolutely Not! Many times people do not even know what God Himself said about… “His Word & Truth!”

About Now… you can see that God, “The God of The Word”… does not need ‘anyone’ embellishing what He has already said in His Holy Word! Any claim to speak ‘Additional Truth’… is simply a “False Claim” = or if you will…. “A Lie mixed with some Truth!” False teachers and preachers are not dumb enough to try and fool people with New Teachings. That is why they “Mix the Scriptures… with Lies!” And they are helped by Satanic means. Many Falsely claim to have… new revelations and dreams from God!
*** (2Corinthians 11:13-14-15) Such people are false apostles, dishonest workers who are masquerading as apostles of Christ.
(2Cor 11:14) And no wonder, since Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.

The Early Christian Church… used the Scriptures… shouldn’t You? Simply look above and re-read… “Acts 17:11.” If you know what you believe… according to the Scriptures… then it is easy to discern… “Error & Lies!” There are many that say they… “Love Jesus”… but do they demonstrate it by… “Loving His Word = as He is the Living Word = John 1:1.” IF you Love Jesus… you will Also Love His Word. Knowing His Word… is part of Knowing Him. The other part is your Obedience to His Word.
