“The Word [Law] of God – 701”…Blog. Part: “SeVen”.
Did I just… spell the word ‘seven’ incorrectly? I did that just to get your attention. As I thought about tying this blog, into the others, it is my agenda to help each of us, me too. Most choose ‘not to dedicate’… time… to the daily study of the Word of God, The Bible. There are other… ‘Pending Life Necessities’… that are always clamoring for our attention. May I simply suggest… nothing else is more important…!
(Mark 1:35) And = in the morning, = rising up a great while before day, = He [Jesus] = went out, = and = departed into a solitary place, = and = there prayed.
If Jesus thought… that it was important to meet with His Father, do you think it is important for us also? His day probably started about… ‘4am’ and probably went onto ‘11pm’. His teaching of the Kingdom of God, the healings and all the other ‘facets of life’ pressed on Him, like no other. It was important with Him… to meet with “His Father”… and so it must be with “US!”
(Matthew 6:33) But = seek = First = the kingdom of God = and = His righteousness; = and = all these things = shall be added to you.
Our Days Too… are filled with responsibilities and pressures. We have only some limited control over = but much = we have absolutely no control over. There is life, work, family and too many others to list at all… ‘Biding’ for our time and attention. Sometimes our ‘head’ may hit the pillow only to think… I forgot to do “XXX”… today!
At one time… I worked for a governmental environmental agency. Once a month I had to do a “NOX Calibration!” This was about ‘10-hours’ of extensive calculations and procedures on an ‘analyzer specific’ to that compound. It was labor intensive besides the massive calculations to validate the ‘before and after conditions’. Have you ever done “Slope & Intercept Calculations?” I still got up… an hour early at home… and spent time… in my Bible with Christ.
Christ in His Ministry… and Us in our position… have both the same resource. “The Word of God!” The Bible is available to have us to have… “The Mind of Christ!” But I am not God… you may say in response. Yes that is True… but IF you have been Born Again… you have God’s Holy Spirit… indwelling You! That is the “Power”… to live that Life of Christ… with all the pressures of Life. It is ‘your mind’ that controls You… Your agenda and Your lifestyle. Free will… has given you… That Choice.
(Philippians 2:5) For = let = this mind = be in = You = which = was also = in = Christ Jesus,
How simple does… that sound to you? Well we can only have one person in Control. It is either “Christ”… or… it is ‘US!’ Someone is in control. Could it be your hunger or passion or some other driving force? Do you allow your ‘thoughts’ to control you… or do you control your ‘thoughts?’ Obviously you cannot tell your boss… “Say Charlie, I think I will take the day off… and go to the Beach!” In doing so, you would not have a job… to come back to. …LOL!
The Facts of Right & Wrong… are blurred for us by… “the media”… all the time. Justice is for those that can afford it. Wrongs go unpunished and the innocent are often made to seem Guilty. But it is not so with the… “Word of God”. It is “Completely Clear”… what is ‘right’ & what is ‘wrong!’ …Murder, Adultery, Stealing and Lying… are “Wrong!” But what about those other issues of life… that are in those ‘supposed’… “Grey Areas?”

(Luke 4:4) And = Jesus answered = him [Satan], = saying, = It is written that = "man shall not live by bread alone, = but = by every = Word of God."
There is in… the Word of God a… ‘Spiritual Principle’… that may be applied for every situation of Life… to tell you what is… ‘Right & Wrong!’ I don’t believe that… is a ‘saying’… I have heard from many that have claimed to be believers. “Ignorance is simply being un-informed”. We are all born “Ignorant”… and in as little as two or three years… we are speaking and understanding a New Language! “Ignorance”… can be fixed. “Stupid” [an unwillingness to learn]… will hinder One… their entire life.
So where do I begin… if I am going to keep the Word of God? “The Mind follows the Body”. It is the ‘Gateway’… to life’s actions. You all of a sudden, do not perform… ‘Brain Surgery!’ It takes years of medical training and certification. I have always owned “Factory Manuals” for my vehicles. It shows the engineering specifications and methodologies… that the ‘dealer mechanic’ uses to repair your car. You may do the same… and save yourself… some serious money. So it is in the Spiritual Realm…! Here is the “Key”…!
(2Corinthians 10:3-to-6) Of course, = we are living in the flesh, = but = we do not fight in a fleshly way. [but in a Spiritual one = 2Corinthians 4:4]
(2Cor 10:4) For = the weapons = of our warfare = are not those of the flesh. = Instead, = they have = The Power of God = to demolish fortresses. = We = tear down = fortified Ideologies.
(2Cor 10:5) and = every proud obstacle = that is raised = against = the knowledge of God, = taking = every thought captive = in order to = obey Christ.
(2Cor 10:6) We are ready = to punish every act = of disobedience = when your obedience [1John 1:5-to-10] = is complete.
This is the Key… “Simple Obedience to Christ!” Since mankind does not readily know God and what His requirements are, where can he find them. Simply in the Word of God! In “Matthew 4:4 & Luke 4:4”… Jesus already told us that Man has the option to Live by… Every Word of God! He also told us… “Let this Mind… be in you… which was also in Christ Jesus!” What then did Christ… have in His mind… that we do not… ‘Have In Ours…?’
The Word of God… plain & simple. We all are in a Spiritual Warfare. The evil forces of this world are part of the kingdom of darkness. They have already… “Blinded the Minds” [2Corinthians 4:4]… of those that do not believe Christ Jesus and the Word of God. This war still goes on… with those that have come to Christ for salvation. How then can we replace our thoughts… with those that we ‘Should’ have? A simple ‘study and application’ of God’s Word… to our Hearts, Minds and Lives.
Did you Notice… that in those above verses… “That is raised = Against = the knowledge of God”. That is the Key! The knowledge of God… is the Word of God… the Law of God! It is so very simple! God’s Word… is there so that mankind can know God and what He wants for His People. Could it be that simple? That is what Satan, the enemies of our soul… uses against us.
(Genesis 3:1) … and Satan said… “Has God… ‘Really’… said, you shall not…?”
Did you ever wonder… when reading through the Gospels, about ‘the man’ possessed with demons in the “Decapolis” area? Those can be found in… “Matthew 8, Mark 5 and Luke 8.” Those ‘10-cities’, hence the word ‘Decapolis’… were “Jews raising PIGS” [swine]… forbidden by… “Deuteronomy 14:8”. No wonder why they did not recognize… Christ as their promised… “Messiah!” Those Jews, had been violating, “God’s Mandate” for the Jews, His people, as part of their lifestyle. They were eating them and making a profit from them also!
(Matthew 22:29) Jesus = answered them, = "You are wrong = because = you don't = know = the Scriptures = or = God's power.
Christ Jesus spoke… those words to the very people that made a… ‘Life Study’ of the Word of God! They were “Religious”… but had ‘Shunned’… “The Complete & Final Authority”… of the Word of God! So is it today… Many… believe their… “Church or Denomination or Pastor”… without “First”… Knowing what the Word of God… Says!
“You’re being Critical”… is the remark I have often been told, when making such statements. My response has been… “Sorry NO… just Faithful… to what God said in His Word!” Then you’re being… ‘Legalistic’ was their next response. “Sorry NO… just being Truthful… to what God said in His Word!” Most do not know what legalistic means! If I choose to drive the ‘Posted Speed Limit’… am I being Legalistic? No, I am simply… Obeying what the Posted LAW is!
(Galatians 6:1) Brothers, = if a man = is overtaken in a fault, = you = the spiritual ones = restore such a one = in the spirit of meekness, = considering yourself, = lest you also = be tempted [to do the same as him].
The Word of God… will either… “Harden” your heart towards God… or… bring you to “Repentance!” If I saw you speeding on your way to church… and called you aside… and confronted you… what would you do? Please don’t answer me back. You already know what you would do… as you have done the same in the ‘Past!’ You will not change your driving habits… Till you become… “Obedient To Christ Jesus and His Word”.
How then does my Mind… affect my Body? Simply “You Choose” only… what you want ‘to do’ or absolutely, ‘have to do’. Most of us do... what we do… not by choice! It is simply following the ‘previous pattern’ we have adapted our thinking to… “Be it right or wrong!” There has to be a “Higher Reason & Power”… for us to change our ‘Wrong Habits”. “IF”… you call the Blessed Name of Christ Jesus… “THEN”… you need to be living Like… ‘He’ really is your… “Lord & Savior!”
(Romans 12:1-2-3) I beseech you therefore, = brothers, = by the = mercies of God = to = yield = your bodies = a living sacrifice, = holy, = pleasing to God, = which is your = reasonable = service of worship.
(Rom 12:2) And = do not be conformed = to this world, = but = be transformed = by = the renewing of = your mind, = in order = to prove = by you = what is that = good = and = pleasing = and = perfect = will of God.
(Rom 12:3) For = I say, = through the grace given = to me, = to everyone = who is among you, = not to think of himself = more highly than he ought to think. = But = set your mind = to be right-minded, = even as God = has dealt to every man = the measure of faith.
(Romans 10:17) Then faith = comes of hearing, = and = hearing = by = the Word of God.
How about You…? Are you a ‘living sacrifice’ to God… or… do you keep… crawling off the alter? Have you… “Yielded”… to the Word of God? Or have you just not had [made] the time… to know what God wants for you? Many, speak about the… “Will of God!”… Simply put it is “Nothing More”… than the Word of God! “His Will”… will Always agree… “100%”... with His Word. Nothing More… Nothing Less! “Murder”, “Adultery”, “Stealing” and “Lying”… are Never… “His Will”…!
Well suppose I… do not have that ‘measure of faith’ spoken about there in ‘Romans 12:3’…? I have heard… that Excuse before…! The Faith we get… is from, the Word of God. The more we know the Word of God… the More Faith… WE Have! One cannot be strong in the Word of God… without being ‘Strong in Faith!’ When the bottom drops out… that one will simply turn to the Word of God!
(Habakkuk 3:17) Though = the fig tree shall not blossom, = and = fruit is not on the vines; = the labor of the olive fails, = and = the fields yield no food. = The flock is cut off from the fold, = and = no herd is in = the stalls;
(Hab 3:18) Yet = I will rejoice = in Jehovah God, = I will joy in = the God = of my salvation.
(Hab 3:19) Jehovah the Lord = is my strength, = and = He will make my feet like hinds' feet, = and = He will make me to walk on my high places. = To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
The Prophet spoke here… of the destruction facing Israel in their time of rebellion against God. His focus was on ‘God and His Word’… and not on… the pending doom coming to them. His only hope… in good times or in the evil times… which all God’s people have! “Only in Jehovah God”… and what He said in… “His Word!” Where will You be without… the knowledge of the Word of God…? Will you be ‘Ready’ when… “Christ Jesus”… Comes Back Again…?
(Matthew 24:37-38-39) For = just as it was = in the days = of Noah, = so = it will be = when the Son of Man [Christ Jesus] = comes.
(Matt 24:38) In those days = before the flood, = people = were eating and drinking, = marrying and giving in marriage = right up to the day = when = Noah = went into the ark.
(Matt 24:39) They were = unaware = of what was happening = until = the flood came = and = swept = all of them = away. = That's how it will be = when the Son of Man [Christ Jesus] comes [Again].
(2Peter 3:18) But = grow in grace = and = in knowledge = of our = Lord and Savior = Jesus Christ. = To Him = be the glory, = both now = and = to the day of eternity. = Amen.
