Recently there was a discussion… about music. Someone ‘wrongly’ said, “There is No Such thing as an Evil Note!” Really, you mean to tell us, that “All of Creation is Fallen”… and then ‘NOT Music’…? Impossible…! During the ‘Fall and the Curse’… “All Fell”… including music. Someone told me, David played the Psalms. Well, King David also committed Adultery! That kind of Justifiable Logic for any So Called Christian Music… does not hold Truth to the Holy Word of God!

*** (James 4:4) Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever desires to be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Perhaps that person… Never listened to that Rap… that speaks about Cop Killers? How about that rap… that speaks of Sex Perversions? Music can be Evil… as well as Good. Surely there is Good and Bad in… each & every… aspect of Life! How about the music from the movie, ‘The Graduate?’ I believe the ‘songs’ did much… to accentuate and approve of the fact of Adultery in that movie! How then can one then say… there are no evil notes…?

If there are… “False Christians”… does it not seem reasonable that their ‘music’… will reflect their ‘true’ spirit…? Over the past years there has been a plethora of so called ‘Christian Music.’ Most of it contains… ‘he’, ‘him’ or some other vague reference to a deity… but not necessarily that of Christ Jesus the Lord or even of God the Father or the Holy Spirit. Most do not compare their music to the knowledge of the Scriptures… to discern good from evil.

Have you ever… “Questioned the music you listen to?” My first remembrance as a child was of Christmas carols. My next was of Classical music and Opera! We went to visit my grandmother one summer and I found an old “Victrola” in the basement with records. I listened to them all summer long and for the first time, I had an appreciation of classical music. Only later on in life, when I came to Christ… did I realize that Opera was nothing more than “Soaps – Sung in a Foreign Tongue!”

Perhaps if one… would look into the Scriptures and see that Lucifer had the ability to make music also. When he rebelled against God and took one third of the angels with him, those fallen angels did not put forth good but evil! The band… “KISS”… Kings in Satan’s Service and their promoted lifestyle of Sex, Drugs and Rebellion is surely… “Not of God!” So too… not all music called Christian is really… Christian.

Recently someone said… “Don’t Confuse me with those ‘THINGS’… I just want to Praise Jesus!” How then can the Worship of God… be right… with “Wrong Music?” It cannot be so! Many do not know nor want to know the Scriptures. The Scriptures agree in… “Letter & Spirit!” Simply read the Psalms, the songbook of Israel and test them… with the Other Scriptures? They too agree with the rest of Scripture… but Not So… of today’s “So Called – Christian Music”. Many of the old hymns… have been “Rocked”… to appeal to an ignorant generation of ‘Spiritually Ignorant’ people… both adults and children.

How about it…? If you have read my previously posted blogs, you have an idea where I am coming from. False claims of God Inspiration in their music would mean that it has as much authority of the Scriptures. Sorry it does Not! Simply “TEST”… the harmony, the melody and the Words… with that of Scripture… “IF… You Dare To”…? What you will find out; will change your mind. If it doesn’t fit Scripture… it is not Christian…!

Will you just accept… what is fed you in music without checking it out with the Scriptures? Will you just take all… “Christian Music”… without discerning and checking it with the Scriptures…? “Satan as an Angel of Light”… bring his music… right into the Churches and no one say anything about it. The OT Psalms… the songbook of God’s People Israel was… Filled with Doctrine and Teaching about GOD and His Workings. The Pseudo Christian music today… what does it teach you about God…? Absolutely little if any, maybe a few kudos to God… but NOT… “True Bible Teaching”…!
(1Corinthians 14:38) But if any = is [willingly] ignorant, = let him = be [willingly] ignorant.
(Ezekiel 2:7) And you shall speak My Words to them, whether they will hear or whether they will forbear, for they are rebellious.
(Isaiah 8:20) To the Law = and to the testimony! = If = they do NOT speak according TO this Word, = it is because NO light = is in them.
