“NT Sabbath Keepers – 101”…Blog.
There are several… people on FB that call themselves Christian and speak about keeping the Sabbath. This bothers me… because of the “Many Unbelievers” that post on this BB also. Why…? If the Christians cannot even be sure of Worship… how then can the unbelievers see the Light of the Gospel…? Since we are to be a witness for Christ Jesus… how is this difference reconciled?

The ‘ONE’ Question is… does Salvation in Christ Jesus… come about by keeping the Law of Moses… or is it… “Only – by God’s Grace and Mercy”…? This is a simple question and is simply answered. Salvation is by Grace Alone… and not by works of any kind. Is then keeping the Sabbath… earning more favor with God… than those that do not keep the Sabbath… BUT worship some other day…? “Yes or No”…?

About now… those that were taught to keep; The Sabbath… by their “Church Denomination” are in a tizzy! You see, even in the early church… there were ‘false teachers’… a group called the Gnostics. These falsely claimed to have a more perfect knowledge of what God wanted, separate from the Scriptures. They falsely claimed… ‘Special Revelation’… from God!’
*** (2Peter 2:1-2) But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who secretly will bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction.
(2Pet 2:2) And many will follow their pernicious ways, and because of them the way of truth will be evil spoken of.

So what is the Answer…? What did the early believers do? How were they to know… what was Truth and what was not? The same question is for today. Many hear all sorts of preaches and teachers… especially on the Internet. Each one has their jaded interpretation of what the Scriptures say. But there is… Only One Way… to check the Truth of any preaching or teaching. Even mine in these blogs. Get out your Bible… and Check It OUT!

*** (Acts 17:11) And these = were more noble = than those of Thessalonica, = in that they received the Word = with all readiness of mind = and = ‘searched’ the Scriptures = daily = to see if those things = were so.

All one has ‘to do’… is go to the Internet and check out their Denomination? No, I am not speaking about their Denomination web site… but any of the other historical sites. The secular information about said denomination can be quite revealing. Each one falsely claiming… to be the Only Right Church! There are even those that falsely claim to be descended from the Apostles. Sorry but they are “Wrong!”

In this blog link… there is a discussion about the Many Denominations and what they preach & teach. Simply examine what your denomination believes… AND… “WHY?” You may even refuse to read this blog or do what is suggested and check out your Church. That is up to you, as You will have to answer to Christ Jesus… when you stand before Him. Please take the time and find out…? Remember some of those Adult Skills we learn… mean to Unlearn – some of what we think we knew – and replace it with God’s Truth!
