*** (1John 4:1) Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but try the spirits to see if they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
*** (Amos 8:11) Behold, the days come, says the Lord Jehovah, that I will send a famine in the land; not a famine of bread nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the Words of Jehovah.
What happened ‘during’ the… “Dark Ages”, Circa 1000-1300 AD…? What is happening ‘today’… in the Church of Christ Jesus…? Is the Holy Spirit again, ‘giving’ the Believers those same Gifts ‘that’ the Apostles and the early Jerusalem Church ‘had’…? Is GOD… again speaking His Truth… so that it can be ‘added’ to the Bible…? Or is the Bible ‘Complete’…? You ‘must’ take a stand on these issues but ‘Only’ according TO: the Holy Word of God! IF you are “Not”… truly Born Again by His Holy Spirit… “Scripture”… will mean ‘Little or Nothing’ to You; as your “Only Reference Point!”
*** (1Corinthians 2:14) But the natural man ‘does not’ receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are ‘foolishness’ to him; ‘neither’ can he know them, ‘because’ they are spiritually discerned.
*** (Acts 17:11) And these were more noble than those of Thessalonica, in that they ‘received’ the Word with ‘all’ readiness of mind and ‘searched’ the Scriptures ‘daily’ to see ‘if’ those things were so. [Or Not]
*** (Ephesians 5:9) For the fruit of the Spirit consists of ‘every’ form of goodness, righteousness, and ‘Truth’.
(Eph 5:10) ‘Proving’ what pleases the Lord,
(Eph 5:11) and have ‘nothing’ to do with the unfruitful works of darkness. Instead, ‘expose’ them for what they are.

About now ‘someone’ is saying… “That is ‘Not’ Very Christian of You!” My response is that ‘YOU’… “Do Not Know ‘What’; the Scriptures Teach!” Don’t you know that there are “More False Teachers”… than “True Teachers”… of the Holy Word of God…? Do you expect me to stand by… and allow “LIES”… to be portrayed as Truth…? Don’t you ‘know’, that Christ called us as His Soldiers… and that we are to “Earnestly Contend” [Jude 1:3-4]… for the “True Faith” and ‘To Expose’… the “False Faith”…?
*** (Luke 18:7) And shall not God avenge His own elect who cry day and night to Him, though He has been long-suffering over them?
(Luke 18:8) I [Jesus] say to you that He [God] will avenge them speedily. Yet when the Son of Man comes, shall He [Jesus] find ‘Faith’ on the earth?
*** (1Thessaloninans 5:21) Prove all things, hold fast to the good.
*** (Isaiah 8:20) To the Law = and to the testimony! = If = they “Do NOT” speak according TO this Word, = it is ‘because’ = “NO light” = is in them.
*** (Luke 16:31) And he said to him, If they = “Do NOT” = hear Moses and the Prophets, = they will “NOT” = be persuaded, = even though one rose from the dead.
So how does… the “Gift of Discerning of Spirits” work today…? Perhaps allow me to ask you ‘First’… “Is God, the God of the Bible… ‘revealing’ more spiritual truth today?” Or is the Bible complete and to be “USED”;… “To Check, Define and Validate All Truth”…? You ‘must’ answer that question “First!” Many who say they are Christian… claim Apostolic gifts; to rival those of the early Church with all those sign gifts. Needles to say… when they are “Confronted with Scripture”; they ‘Invalidate’ your Speech to them. They branded you, as ‘Unloving’ and ‘Not filled with the Spirit’… as they are!
*** (2Timothy 4:2-2-4) preach the Word, be instant ‘in’ season and ‘out’ of season, Reprove, Rebuke, Exhort with all long-suffering and Doctrine.
(2Tim 4:3) For a time will be ‘when’ they ‘will not’ endure sound doctrine, but they will heap up teachers to themselves ‘according’ to their own lusts, tickling their ears.
(2Ti m4:4) And they will ‘turn away’ their ears from the Truth and will be ‘turned’ to myths.
*** (2Timothy 3:15-16-17) From childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures that are able ‘to give’ you the wisdom you need for salvation ‘through’ faith in Christ Jesus.
(2Tim 3:16) All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for Teaching, for Reproof, for Correction, and for Training in righteousness,
(2Tim 3:17) so that the man of God may be ‘complete’ and ‘thoroughly equipped’ for every good work.
*** (2Peter 3:15-16) Think of our Lord's patience as salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him.
(2Pet 3:16) He speaks about this subject in ‘all’ his letters. Some things in them are hard to understand, which ‘ignorant’ and ‘unstable’ people ‘distort’ to their own destruction, as they ‘do’ the rest of the Scriptures.
Can ‘anyone’ exercise… or use the gift of the ‘Discerning of Spirits’ today… without knowing the Holy Scriptures…? Is it some ‘magic’ gift that they use… to determine “Truth” from “Lies”…? Could they really have that ‘gift’… and then “Not Discern” a ‘false’ teacher and his ‘wrong’ teaching…? Can a ‘newborn baby’ eat Steak…? Can a ‘blind’ person… see…? Can you skydive ‘without’ a parachute…? A friend told me they had that spiritual gift. They had been a Christian for some time. Then they gave out many copies of Rick Warren’s “Purpose Driven Life!” He is “NOT”… a Christian Preacher… but a “False Teacher”; a wolf in sheep’s clothing!
*** (Proverbs 27:5-6) Open rebuke is better than secret love.
(Pro 27:6) Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.
*** (2Peter 2:1-2) But there were also false prophets among the people, ‘even as’ there will be ‘false teachers’ among you, who secretly will bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction.
(2Pe 2:2) And ‘many’ will follow their pernicious ways, and because of them the way of Truth will be ‘evil’ spoken of.
*** (2John 1:9-10-11) Everyone who does not abide in the teaching of Christ but goes beyond it does not have God. The person who abides in the teaching of Christ has both the Father and the Son.
(2Jn 1:10) If ‘anyone’ comes to you and ‘does not’ bring this teaching, ‘do not’ take him into your home or ‘even’ greet him,
(2Jn 1:11) for the ‘one’ who greets him ‘shares’ in his evil deeds.
Can you see… that ‘without’ Being Born Again, by the Holy Spirit of God; one ‘cannot’ discern Truth from Lies…? When one has God’s Holy Spirit… the Holy Word of God is “Amplified” by the Holy Spirit… so that one can “Discern Truth ‘from’ Lies!” Much like the Jews of Jesus’ day… they ‘knew’ the Scriptures… but could not ‘Discern’… that Christ Jesus was the Messiah of God! So today there are “Many”… who “Falsely Claim”… ‘All sorts’ of Spiritual Gifts and Fruit and Discernment and Understanding:… “WITHOUT KNOWING”… ‘What’ the Holy Scriptures Say…! How then… can they “Discern Truth”;… God’s Truth… “Found Only”… in His Holy Word…? ? ?
*** (Matthew 24:24-25) For ‘false’ Christs’ and ‘false’ prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders; so much so that, ‘if’ it were possible, they would ‘deceive even’ the elect.
(Mat 24:25) Behold, I [Jesus] have told you beforehand.
*** (1Corinthains 14:38) But if any is ignorant, let him be ignorant.
*** (1Corinthains 14:32) And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. [True or False]
*** (Matthew 15:14) Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If one blind person leads another blind person, both will fall into a ditch."

“OK!”… So ‘where’ do “You”… go from here..? Perhaps you have ‘walked’ a Church Aisle and ‘said’ a Prayer; asking Jesus into your Life…? Does that ‘really’ mean that you are truly “Born Again”…? Does that mean your name is ‘written’ in the “Lambs Book of Life”…? If you ‘do not’ have a; “Hunger for the Holy Word of God” or… have chosen “Not To”… ‘Immerse’ yourself in God’s Holy Word; where does that leave you. Is ‘your’ Church; the ‘validation’ of your “Salvation in Christ”…? Absolutely Not!

*** (2Corinthians 13:5) Keep ‘examining’ yourselves to see whether you ‘are’ continuing in the faith. Test yourselves! You know, do not you; that Jesus Christ ‘lives’ in you? Could it be that you are ‘failing’ the test?
*** (Romans 8:9) But you are ‘’not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, ‘if’ the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone ‘has not’ the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.

(Rom 8:17) And if we are children, then we are heirs; heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ; so that if we suffer with Him, we may also be glorified together.
