Did You like the ‘Drawing’
I used for this Labor Day Blog…? I thought to add a little humor [Very Little]…! Many
times we celebrate a Holiday, and do NOT even know the reason for IT…! Of
course, when it is a Paid Holiday, “Who can Complain”…? Now, I can even hear in
the background some “Housewife Saying”… “Yes but When do I get a Labor
Day Holiday”…? …LOL! Many do NOT see their Employment as a Blessing from God!
Try being Unemployed for Over a Year… and then You will be THANKFUL… for Any
Job! I cried because I had No Shoes… ‘UNTIL’… I saw a Man with NO Feet…!

Labor Day: What it
Means…? Labor Day, the first
Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to
the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a
yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength,
prosperity, and well-being of our country. [From USDOL]
Labor Day Legislation!
Through the years the
nation gave increasing emphasis to Labor Day. The first governmental
recognition came through municipal ordinances passed during 1885 and 1886. From
these, a movement developed to secure state legislation. The first state bill
was introduced into the New York legislature, but the first to become law was
passed by Oregon on February 21, 1887. During the year four more states —
Colorado, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York — created the Labor Day
holiday by legislative enactment. By the end of the decade Connecticut,
Nebraska, and Pennsylvania had followed suit. By 1894, 23 other states had
adopted the holiday in honor of workers, and on June 28 of that year, Congress
passed an act making the first Monday in September of each year a legal holiday
in the District of Columbia and the territories. [From USDOL]

When ONE is Truly Born Again… by the Holy Spirit of God… He has a “Plan”
for our lives. These ‘Many’ are often thinking in an Earthly Mindset! What “Relationship,
Good Job, Home, Vehicle, Etc.” does God have for Me…? Seldom do they THINK: of
what “Responsibility” does GOD have for me to DO: for His Kingdom…? Often they
may think in terms of “What Kind of Ministry”… does God have for Me? In
reality, there is ONE and Only ONE Issue…! Whatever God has for You… OR: “Doesn’t
have for You”: the ISSUE is still the SAME…! Can you guess what it is… before
reading any further…? Simple Question: Are You a “Faithful Steward”… of the
Grace which God has ENTRUSTED to… “You”…?

(1Cor 4:2) And the rest, it is sought among Stewards that one be found “FAITHFUL”.

IF You work a Secular Job… be it man or

certain performance standards. Often times I was promoted because I gave myself
WHOLLY… to any task that was set before me. My mindset was: I am not Working for
the “APS Company” BUT: for the LORD…! “Aptitude is “99%”… Attitude!” Natural
Abilities flow out of a Heart that is “Right with God!” Remember He has placed
us in that Position! Yes, even for the Stay Home MOM: who has “3-or-4”… small
children at the same time! GOD may simply choose to leave us in… “Modest Means”…
KNOWING: that HE cannot trust us with an ‘Abundance’…! About now, You will say
to me… “What about Joe & Mary”…? That is NONE of your Business… its God’s
business… Not Yours…!
