Why do some Christians get… “Tattoos”…? Perhaps it is because they may really never have been… “Truly Born Again”… by God’s Holy Spirit? Maybe, their Christian religion; never said anything about it? Could it be that they were even “Rebellious”… falsely thinking; “We are under Grace and ‘Not’ under the Law”…? If someone steals from ‘You’… do ‘You’ excuse it saying; “You are under Grace”…? [Luke 17:3] I think “Not!” What most chose to “Ignore”… are the Scriptures; the Holy Word of God…! Salvation is by God’s… “Grace & Mercy & Love”…! True Christian Discipleship is by… “Obedience!” Many claim to “Love JESUS”… and yet “Do Not”… “Read & Study”… His Holy Word: Daily…! Surely ‘You’ would not even think about missing a ‘meal & snacks’? Yet ‘You’ would miss His Holy Word… especially IF: something more important to ‘You’… came along? Did ‘You’ open your Bible… and meet with Him [Jesus]… “BEFORE”… your Cell Phone; Computer; and Yes, even ‘Face Book’…?

What is a Tattoo…? It is simply “Self-Worship” of your own: Body…! Say it isn’t So…? Did ‘You’ read “Romans 1”… in the above Scriptures…? Self-Worship always obeys Self: before God! Did ‘You’ show anybody…? Of course ‘You’ did…! And ‘You’ may even think it is beautiful; for now. But just wait till your skin ‘Sags’…! Or till the ink ‘Blurs’…? One simple question… “Will there be Tattoos on those… “Glorified Bodies” in Heaven...? “Absolutely Not”…! Will some have ‘Tattoos’ on their “Fallen Bodies” in the Lake of Fire…? Unless one is “Born Again by the Holy Spirit of God”… they will have a… “Imperishable ‘Fallen’ body for Eternity”… in the Lake of Fire! Another question…? Is your Body the Temple of God’s Holy Spirit…? If ‘You’ are Truly Born Again; He abides there…! Isn’t the Holy Spirit; “Enough of God’s Glory”… without trying to fix your fallen human body from the outside… especially with a “Tattoo”…?

About now someone is dying to ask me, “Do ‘You’ have a Tattoo”…? Over 10+ years ago, I had cancer surgery and “Radiation Therapy!” I receive a lethal dose of Radiation… over an extended time… to supposedly kill any remaining Cancer Cells. I was placed on a table; with my head secured with a Form Fitted Plastic: “See Thru Mask Solid Net”. I was then bolted to the table as not to move; as the Radiation Therapy was: “Location Specific!” They had placed a… “Tattoo DOT”… on my chest; where the ‘Laser Locater’… could pinpoint a ‘Reference Point. Each day, they used the same ‘Tat’ as a reference. If ‘You’ call that dot a “Tattoo”… then it is a medically permissive one. My chest hair has grown over it; and I would need to shave that area to find it again. …LOL! Often when I have an opportunity to share Christ… with a “Tattooed Biker” and often use that as a lead in. “Hey I see your TATS… I spent over $18,000 –thousand dollars on mine! And yes; I do ride a “Yahama V-Max” motorcycle…!

Ok, so ‘You’ have a “Tattoo”… what do ‘You’ do now…? You have several options. The first are “Siamese Twins!” They are… “Proverbs 28:13 & 1John 1:5-to-10”…! Question…? “Should ‘You’ have it Removed”…? I will not advise ‘You’… that is between “You & Jesus”…! Simply see… “Romans 8:14 & Galatians 5:16”…! ‘You’ may leave it there as a reminder of your Disobedience or ‘You’ may remove it! That is why I said for ‘You’ to settle that with Jesus…! May I simply ask… “Do ‘You’ understand Repentance & Forgiveness”…? Can ‘You’ open your Bible and defend your answer with the Scriptures…? If you cannot… that is why You saw nothing wrong with a “Tattoo!”
